The connection in pvp is since Beyond Light really miserable. In 9 out of 10 games i have 1 bar. Its lagging hardcore EVEN in PRIVATES!
Please fix that!

I'm getting anteatered at least once or twice a night with a wired connection and 350/50 from Comcast. Destiny network has always been trash but this is ridiculous.
-
Agreed. Play session is terrible tonight. People lagging in and out of the us. Also matching a lot of people outside the us. Probably because of stasis making people abandon the crucible already. Future of pvp isn’t looking good fellas.
-
Imagine even bothering to play PvP

I can’t tell you how many people I have seen teleporting in crucible this week. My shots will suddenly stop damaging mid-duel (but I still take damage, like wth 🤨). Several times yesterday, I was killed around corners and behind walls. Players teleport around the map so that one second there hiding behind cover while I pepper them with my pulse rifle, then in the next instant they’re standing right in front of me with a shotgun and end my existence. I’ve checked my internet, reset it, restarted my console, and nothing has worked. TLDR: Players are teleporting all over in the crucible and it’s not fun.
-
Yes, something definitely changed, it is far worse than it was in the few past seasons.
-
Agreed. It’s not IN YOUR FACE lag, but like, subtle inconsistencies that are frequent and impact gameplay.
-
Btw., likely all the former aimbot users are now lag-switching with their favourite aimbot vendor shut down.
-
yeah i've seen people inside of PvP and PvE laggin so much, happens to me in crucible though its been working for me as an advantage. I just hate it when half my raid group gets sent to orbit
-
I'm not good at pvp but this season has been far worse. I have pretty damn good internet but its seems I'm punished for that. And I'm almost a full second behind everyone.

Edited by Verke0: 12/7/2020 1:24:07 PMI report everyone with a bad connectivity. Yesterday there was at least one every match. Assholes cant afford a freaking LAN cable?! But then one match it was my turn: contacting destiny servers, everyone was teleporting, walked right through my tether trap without it detecting them. I knew it was me, but i have the most stable internet connection available. So it must be Bungie then right? Im not sure anymore if reporting anyone is fair tbh. Edit: Why is -blam!- censored but assholes not?
-
Edited by BMFBM: 12/7/2020 9:53:43 PMI’ve noticed this also. In pve too. I’ll bet the new upgrades need more tuning.
-
It’s -blam!-ing abysmal. If this is their connection based matchmaking, I’d hate to see the connections in their sbmm.
-
You haven't mentioned your connection speeds. What's your upload download speeds and packet loss at? You're playing on WiFi?
-
Heul net rum xD
-
Hrvat?
-
I thought it was my connection. I’m using a hotels wifi in Alaska.
-
Sbmm is back but its works exactly like freelance survival so now pvp sucks for everybody.
-
Same here. I'm honestly worried I might get banned because I can't tell if other players are having lag issues like me. 1 bar connection every match even though my Internet connection is great. I have no lag issues in other games.
