Can we get more melee weapons? Swords are cool and all, but give us some polearms, axes, scyths and such
Please and if anyone's got any other idea weapons add them

1 ReplyBefore Arc Staff I wanted them to add in Pikes and I still do! Also, the Axe... It was in game as a Relic. Why can they not take that same mechanic and just lower is damage. Also, the Class Specific Swords... Why won't they bring those forward. The Titans Broadsword was the most Unique sword. From how it was wielded to how you sprint with it and the Above attack. Really wish those three swords get move up to this year.

5 RepliesEdited by Coalburned: 11/24/2020 7:14:25 AMThis game is mainly focused on super abilities and guns, but i hear ya. It would be awesome if Bungie gave each class a unique new melee weapon. Katana for hunter, scythe for warlock and giant beast hammer for titans! I would also like to see more sub classes, like poison, necromancer, blood magic etc. Stasis is a step in the right direction for this game, i really hope bungie are planning on tweaking the other sub classes too, and bring new ones to the table soon. this game needs more variety in the way u play.

1 Replyhonestly yeah I don't see why they haven't done cool things with sword that haven't been done before (except the lament, worldline, dark-drinker, raze-lighter, bolt-caster, and black talon) like why don't they make more unique swords, even if its just a skin for a sword then that make it so much cooler

F YEA! Would be great if Bungie would funnel some of that pile of gold us gamers have provided them back into the game . Personally, it's always upset me when u complete w/e bounty/quest, go talk to whoever and, they just stand there next to 3 paragraphs of not-the-best written task prompt text. It's a AAA title ffs! SPEND on your graphix creation and some GD voice acting. That said, i'm enjoying the game, bugs and all. Growing up a loser clinging to my game worlds for sanity I've come to expect more from these developers(yea, i'm dumb too). Once upon a time it was GAMERS that called the shots in game creation, not GD investment banker wannabees. PS: Energy slinging nunchux would be rad. Alright, i'll shut up now. -Optix.

they could easily put these things in, they just seem to either be lazy with weapon design or don't realize how much creativity is wanted. Would be sick to see dual wielding guns/melee etc A damn shame how mediocre this game allows itself to be

To counter stasis, I think there should be a hot/sloppy wet fart super. Guardian drops pants, squats then lets rip!

We really do need melee weapons that use special ammo. Something that hits faster than a sword, but not as hard, like a pair of daggers. A kinetic staff that hits harder, but is slower than a sword, maybe a bit more AoE-like. The possibilities really are endless with this series, its just Bungo's imagination is lacking.
