It’s so good. Like easily the best raid we’ve seen in a long time.
Ignore the people complaining and revel in this genuine success.
I’ll continue to give feedback where I think it’s necessary and I have a lot of issue with the lack of loot and abandonment of core activities but I think Europa, the raid and the post raid content have been some of the best content we’ve seen in this game.
Good work!

and deep stone lullaby is one of the best songs they have ever been had in the game IMO, along with riven and queenswalk themes, sepiks perfected and the iron tomb.

DSC is easily top 2-3 raids for me. Spectacular from start to finish. I have 3 clears already, and I plan on doing many more!

Although I feel like taniks was a disappointment as a final boss and couldn’t stand up to the difficulty/ mechanics of Atraks-1, the raid up until the nuke encounter is perfect in my opinion. The jumping puzzle is hands down the best one we’ve had. The view of Europa below and deep stone lullaby in the background encapsulates everything I love about this game. Loot is amazing. Armor is above average. Definitely better than garden.

Really liked the atmosphere. Mechanics felt about mid tier, with a nice amount of building on concepts. Sadly, didn't get to give day 1 a go this time around I'd rate it above Garden, but below Last Wish for our current Raids

Raids always were the best content in the game. It's a shame that the rest of it is so dull
-
I wanna do it but I need to get a new headset
-
It looks sick as hell. Can't wait to jump in later this week once I get my power up a bit more.

Fantastic raid, the 2nd encounter stood out as one of the best Bungie has ever made, along with Riven, Consecrated Mind, Warpriest, and Aksis. Rest was pretty fantastic to, only low part for me was how mechanically simple the final boss was. (On my team's day one we figured out the final boss in two wipes, it doesn't add any new mechanics or build on existing ones.) But still a decent fight, just not as good as the rest of the raid.

its the final boss for me One of the lamest I've ever seen Why taniks If he had gone past the abomination form into a perfected form or something at the end, and got bigger and cool looking, raid would be pretty solid. Needs just ONE more [huge creative jaw dropping] boss imo. Last boss just looks so incredibly dumb. Almost every other raid boss is so cool but we literally just get a reused character with some dumbass looking hovercraft. Idk the lore yet but so far none of it makes sense at all.
-
My only problem with this raid is that the Eyes of Tomorrow is a rare drop instead of a quest like Divinity.
-
Yeah most emblematic raid boss
-
It's an incredible experience. I wish more people on this forum would take the time to play it versus complaining. Our clan has 8 members with clears already. I am hoping I become the 9th this evening! GREAT JOB BUNGIE!!! MORE OF THIS!!!
-
Bungie almost never fails with making quality content when it comes to raids. The only one I can even consider being poor is Crota's end. But it's easy to forgive that one since it was their second attempt and no one makes two home runs on something they're new to. I didn't care for the raid layer system but it definitely was interesting.

I would support your post but there is a bit of hypocrisy here. I saw all the hate you gave on spoilers and you ignore the people who spoil it here

I loved it the fact we went from the ground to space then back to the ground was really cool it felt like we actually covered distance and had one epic long fight

Edited by Swiftlock: 11/23/2020 2:39:58 PMThe aesthetics of the environment/gear are great. The mechanics are hit and miss. The Atraks fight is definitely not fun. Final boss was a wasted opportunity, though. Should've been the Clovis AI. Instead we get Taniks shoehorned in there. It would've been amazing to fight something OTHER than a Fallen. Eyes of Tomorrow being another RNG drop is painful. Some players go 40-50+ clears before raid exotics MIGHT drop for them. Hopefully the pity timer is back in effect. DSC is good but not the best. I'd rank Wrath of the Machine, Last Wish and King's Fall higher.

I loved the Raid. Fantastic design. Great weapons. Great armor.
-
Highlight of that raid was when the third encounter started getting crazy, the glaring red lights and ship falling, running to the safe room and hoping to live was one of the best events I have experienced in a raid in all of destiny.
-
Launching from the crypt to the space station had to be one of the coolest feelings ever.
-
I have to wonder if they had fewer overall garden clears, so they realized they could up that number if the drop was randomized like in past raids...because i also was hoping for a quest for the exotic.... Still, a great raid overall. Very immersive, and very nice mechanics
-
I haven't tried it but seeing the pods launching gave me odst flashbacks.
-
That sword has me hooked, I havent raided in a while but now Im actually going to level up and do this raid
-
Yeah raid is amazing and more importantly the loot that’s comes out of the raid is really good as well. Haven’t tried it yet but the 2nd encounter looks hard as hell lol.
-
Great enjoyable raid, took time to understand mechanics but an enjoyable raid which will get better each run due to familiarity

Here's a hot take, I don't like Last Wish that much.
