I had the same issue, turns out, to get credit for completing the keep of honed edges you can't drop the relic once you pick it up. Even if you exit with the sword it won't count if you dropped it at any point during the challenge.

The Secret Victories Emblem is a totally RNG drop nowadays https://destinyemblemcollector.com/emblem?id=3352019292) but can now drop on DC, Blind Well, (Seems there’s some daft crossed info out there about the source) And Bungie have changed it so you can only get it from completion of the 6 separate Ascendent Challenges (the cycle has gone - you’re gonna need to wait for AFTER Nov 10th and Year 4) It’s worth noting that the [b]Secret Victories[/b] emblem is most easily unlocked in the Blind Well. (It technically can be unlocked at any time, doing the Blind Well every week, it’s most efficient to work on Secret Emblems (while grinding any missing RNG-based Dreaming City weapons) The drop rate seems to be about 5%, [b]Ascendent Challenge Time Trials[/b] has its own emblem (called [b]Transcendent[/b]), but that one is not needed for [b]Wayfarer Seal[/b]. [b]Sadly, if you’ve missed out on any normal AC completion (due to a glitch) & the cycle has passed, then there’s no chance of it coming back around in the next 2 weeks [/b] Unless Bungie unlock them all next week as a one off special! (Sadly, Bungie don’t care about that ....only Trials & Streamers)

You have to finish the one challenge with the sword equipped. Sorry, can’t remember the name of it. Time trials don’t matter.
