buddy the execs at bungie are clapping themselves on the back
they've turned destiny into a huge live service cash cow
they are making WAY more money than they made on halo or destiny 1
battle passes and massive cash shops combined with extremely aggressive FOMO grind designs

As long as people enjoy it there is no reason to not play it. And no, "you and me stopping to play" won't hurt their income because there will always be enough people that like this game.

The only way to fight it is to do what i have done. Walked away and found a better game. It wasn't even hard. If you stop giving bungie your time and (more importantly) your money. They will maybe start to listen. Adopt my policy - gear sunsetting equals player/wallet sunsetting.

Well fomo is now not really an issue. The seasonal content will be here for the whole year so if you really call fomo being “I DIDNT PLAY FOR 1 YEAR!!” As an excuse. Buddy that’s your problem.

So FOMO will still probably exist to how it is currently working since Shadowkeep

Seasonal content and narratives do not expire until the next expansion, so SotH activities will not go away until The Witch Queen drops.
