People said the same thing about double primaries and 4vs4 pvp and the game died after week 3 post launch lol

Bungie realized that people didn't find double primaries enjoyable. 300 forum users crying about sunsetting doesn't represent the playerbase though.

Sunsetting negativity is not only here its across all spaces of social media where destiny exsists, bungie dont care just like they didnt care when we told them 4vs4 only and double primaries was a bad idea months before D2 beta, that's all

This forum lost its purpose for sharing valuable feedback since a huge potion of „feedback“ came from people not playing this game and looking for entertaining by triggering people that like this game. Reddit is a good source if you want to hear from the actual playerbase.

Look through this thread, most of the people here have current characters, they play the game and want to use the gear they choose to, I imagine most players in game want that ad well, player freedom and choice should always be a thing, I've seen twitch chats, YouTube comments, reditt posts, forum posts and tweets with more upset players then happy ones, I dont know why you assume everyone in game would be part of the latter, I feel a community base is a good way to get the general idea of the playerbase itself

Sure but theres no denying this is an unpopular change to a huge amount of players
