You do know this is better then Destiny 3 right? RIGHT? Like it's 100% better. Because guess what, some gear can rotate back that you loved. Oh wait you will complain about recycled content... Well then they drop new gear! "it's not as good as my Gnawing Hunger that I hold onto like a 10 year old hangs on to his crib". Gawd shut up, and buy Beyond Light, you will love it.

  • I would rather have destiny 3. Destiny 2 was designed with infusion in mind. Clean slate is better it does the same thing (we need to get rid off all our stuff in either case) and they can give the engine a MUCH NEEDED update. The way it stands, i call out to players to embrace my own solution and answer to bungie's deplorable behavior. Gear sunsetting equals player/wallet sunsetting.

Technically they still doing the engine update, which is how they doing the better weather on Europa. If Titan ever comes back for example, we might actually get hail storms that could potentially damage us if we stay out too long, or maybe just give us some kind of debuff. Titan also is rather important, since we see some kind of creature/worm, but we still have no information on it. Or Mars, could have scorching heat that actually increases solar burn damage. That would be awesome if they could do that. Heck, that would be more MMORPG style gameplay too, having the environment cause buffs and debuffs. But overall, I do not care about the vaulting of content, because it will come back around for reasons valid to the plot, like Leviathan showing up on a different world, Venus maybe, or Earth itself. I would prefer maybe new encounters on the Leviathan in particular, but I do not mind exploring the Cosmodrome with loss sectors. Personally I was hoping they use that unused secret Seven Seraph bunker under Rasputin's base. Speaking of, that is another reason to go back to the Cosmodrome, to see if we can get Rasputin's back up there. There is plenty of possibilities just with the Cosmodrome back, let alone bringing back Venus or whatever. The grind on weapons is well, the point of the game. Sure there is infusion, but you still grind for your god rolls, which in the end means infusion is more for once you happy with that weapon, you keep it and power it up. But in the end, people still need to grind. The game was originally infusion when it was set rolls. With random rolls, it's about the grind. People complain about content droughts, but also complain about repeating weapons and whatever else, they find anything and everything to complain about. In the end, people are never happy, so Bungie will develop their game how they want and you can buy it if you want. Yeah you paid for D2 vanilla, but oh well, did you play it after Year 1? I mean year 1 did produce some good stuff, Sleeper, Whisper, Ikelos, that pretty awesome Sagira shell, also wasn't the Solstice gear of Year 1 actually really nice? But yeah other then grinding or doing the quests for those particular things, not many cared until recently with saying goodbye to Wayfarer, Chronicler, etc... Admittedly I do not understand why Black Armory is going, since Nessus is staying... though I guess there is stuff that relies on other areas sunsetting, like Izanagi catalyst from Menagerie, etc. But certain things like that could be changed. Oh well, I am sure Ada-1 will be very important in the future, since she is 1 of 2 Exos not made by Clovis Bray, Rasputin/Felwinter being the other. Maybe some more Black Armory secrets could be revealed too. I have been thinking on this stuff for ages, so many new weapons are possible, rather then using Reclus--Gnawing Hunger for 10 thousand years. Heck, Ada-1 is a forge, and we stumble on them Gjallarhorn plans...

  • No one wants to spend hours grinding another god roll on a weapon they already spent hours grinding on. You ever heard of re-work? The only difference is a little icon showing when the weapon released.

  • So you were mad getting beloved, when it was just LDR 5001 from D1? Once you had your god roll, you didn't care did you? Yeah you won't care once you got your god rolls.

  • Depends on the weapon, but I see your point. Gnawing Hunger/ Night Watch/ Lonesome/ Bad Omens The absolute WORST decision on Bungie's part when it comes to setting a precedent for weapon re-introduction. They didn't change the perks AND didn't bump up the ones from SotD, so you HAD to re-grind them. BrayWolf/ Horror Story IF they do re-introductions, this is how I want it. It gave us a REASON to re-grind and bumped up last year's curated rolls. The new perks were on these this season, and it gave me a reason to chase them. I think Bungie learned that GH/NW/LSome were the worst way to bring stuff back, so, hopefully, they do reintroduction like BrayWolf and HStory. TL;DR- GH was a bad precedent for re-introduction, BWolf was, hope future reintroductions give us more rolls to play with.

  • Didn't they say weapons that should be bumped up, was an error if they didn't bump up? Like my weapons from Last Wish bumped up to current season Light cap of 1360 that were in my vault. Though maybe it was only raid gear, and not other stuff.

  • The only weapons that weren't bumped up were the Gambit re-introductions. That's what I hope re-introductions aren't like anymore.

  • Lol not even remotely close to being true in the slightest. D3 would have been a much better idea.

  • I wouldn't be mad if I didn't have pay for the new gear but here we are. It's like a store selling you an orange and then smacking on to the ground so you have to buy a new orange. Grant it, its nice to have new things, but only when it doesn't cost me something 40 dollars and wipe of the stuff I spent 3 years getting
