So where's Balancing Revoker

Yes its being sunset but its still will be oppressive. Plus I'm sure there's will be away to exploit its usage in competitive game modes. Like using charged light mods and more. Why from the start does it return ammo directly back into the magazinesl? It should have always wanted back to reserves. Still breaks the ammo economy especially on a revive as you are given two bullets back and even if you miss you can get them back. Yes special runs rampant and it makes it even worse. You finally decide to hammer down mt and not this baffles me. You can shoot at a barricade to break it and not waste any ammo doing so. Aim assist is also tied towards range so the better range you have the contributing factor of making it even easier to snipe. Which is why everyone wants range as a mw for snipers. Yes you're adjusting low zoom scopes but I bet snipers will still very generous. Give it drop mag and make it return ammo to reserves.

  • You won't even need to exploit anything to use it in trials/ib (your total light will obviously drop and put you at a disadvantage though). But it will still ohk on headshots. Last IB I tried my 750 Tatara Gaze (that being around 300 power lower than the opponents power). Still ohk on headshots. Revoker will still be viable if you're willing to take the drop in your power level.

    • Honestly, revoker should never have shipped in its current form. BUT, They only change needed to make it fine for use in qp is the change it SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN from the start. No more ammo refunded on a miss. Ammo refunded on PRECISION hit. Bam. Balanced.

          The lowest zoom scope in the game is getting the largest AA nerf. Yeah, its AA is actually not that high, but the AA is had + low zoom + broken flinch + its stupid range made the issue. The AA reduction might curve it a bit. Seriously though. Any time I use it or Beloved I hit shots I KNOW I missed. I even have a clip of Revoker hitting a headshot, getting a kill, and refunding the shot. Thing doesn't even do what its supposed to.

          • No it won't except in quickplay. Its going to be about 200 below light within a week. No boosts from mods will help that

            • I say that revoker gives you ammo back guaranteed on a headshot kill and a chance on body shot (chances are the same as the mulligan perk). Spamming the gun non stop with infinite ammo is the issue. With this, the gun rewards your skill instead of rewarding you for missing.

Give it drop mag and make it return ammo to reserves.[/quote] Such an easy fix is reverse the perk you get the ammo back when you get a final blow or headshot so instead of rewarding bad aim and timing you are rewarded for getting the kill

            • The only thing Revoker needs is a nerf in its exclusive perk. It incites bad game play by missing shots and promotes sniper spam. For normal Snipers, missing a shot or landing a body shot really hurts in the ammo department. It's not like a shotgun, where you get a kill and you're immediately in range to pick up the special ammo brick. Snipers need to walk a long distance and pick up their special ammo. This is one way Snipers are balanced (kind of) Revoker just shits all this out the window and doesn't care if you miss. It's easier to get shotgun ammo than it is getting sniper ammo in PvP is what I'm saying.

            • The sniper nerf is the solution and revoker has that low zoom aim assist. Your theory is correct but not because of revoker the gun only has 39 aa but the targeting mods which now wigh changes are going to be cheaper than before and have enhanced perk strength. The nerf will be countered if you use targeting mods because they grant aa and bullet magnetism not to mention targeting adjuster by itself cancels it out but it is better than what it currently is which is unchecked. Snipers won't be as forgiving as they are but will still have a strong presence just like autos and handcannons will have a presence.

            • Snipers are total broken in general, Revoker just shines because its a solid sniper. They should remove all long scopes, they are garbage and not fun to use, Destiny 2 is not Battlefield. Every other sniper outside of Exotics need to have bullet magnetism reduced hard, increase to flinch vs snipers based on impact damage also.

            • To even suggest that it's equally as bad as mountain top is striaght up cringe ngl however i can see your points but at the end of the day a trash player with revoker is not suddenly going to be dropping 20-30 kills a game like mountain top allows and also with sunset on the way as far as real competitive pvp aka trials goes arbalast is what you should be concerned about that thing is stupid easy to use
