Why "Truth To Power" for Chronicler can't be treated the same way Raid Loot, Dredgen and Wayfarer titles were?

It's all in the title. I would like to hear an official Bungie answer (implying they won't ignore this thread). I understand the sunsetting and DCV. Probably don't like it, but at least I understand. I understand their decisions with FOMO and so on. Once again, I don't like them, but I understand. But what I don't understand is the lack of a clear plan and strategy aimed towards the content going into DCV. I have joined Destiny with the realease of Forsaken. Started with the free week in Battle.net and then bought the game with the Season Pass. I would like all those people who instantly go: "U had 2 years to get this lore book, It'S uR fAuLt" to take a deep breath and put your hands of the keyboard. Because there would be nothing "unfair towards those who grinded it". Moreover it would even more unfair knowing that Dreaming City is not going DCV, but the title does. Currently we have it like this: 1). Dredgen title got fixed not once, but two times. Personally I completed it "back in the day" before all those fixes that made it waaaay more easier to get. Also I don't get salty about it, I think that it's kinda fine. 2). Same goes for Wayfarer. Especially this season when they handled you all those Nightfall rewards for literally talking to the vendors. As for me - same story. I remember grinding weeks for that Braytech Osprey. Once again, that was my own "You had to be there (tm)" moment, since I had the desire, the time to grind and so on. 3). Unlocking Raid Loot - The pinnacle of a good decision made by Bungie if you ask me. Like literally. Not everyone has teams, not everyone is encouraged to go for raids. Even if you have a clan, even if you like to play with people from LFG and so on - you still have your personal life, work, school and etc. Yes, Leviathan Raid is 3 years, but who cares? They announced the DCV - They gave you the tools to get all the Raid loot before the Beyond Light expansion. So the question is: Content that is going to the DCV is getting some kind of a treatment - one way or another. Dreaming City is not going to the DCV but the "Chronicler" goes. If you wish to delete this seal - then why can't we have a proper way to get it before the expansion? Thank you for your attention. P.S. Honorable mentions of "UnFaIr" (actually similar) treatment: - Anarchy, 1K Voices and SOtP Sparrow drop rate fixes. - Mountaintop quest - Wendigo GL3 quest - Felwinter's Lie public quest

Came here to post the exact same thing. I started Destiny 2 when the content vault was announced and thought at the time to prioritise the locations being vaulted, didn't think I needed to work on this until it was too late (I havent actually done the calculation, but was there even 33 weeks from when DCV was announced? Was it even possible to get Truth To Power / Chronicler at all from the announcement?) "Truth To Power" requires no skill only patience. Much like all of your fine examples, I've got one more - Bungie 'fixed' the way the Sleeper Nodes work on Mars to avoid getting so many duplicates. Would be great if they 'fixed' this lore entry as well. Perhaps if they gave you a lore piece for every week opening the chest instead of every 3 weeks, that should be enough to see most people through before November 10. Update: Done calculation, only 22 weeks from the DCV announcement on June 9, until November 10 not enough to even complete Truth To Power.
