There are 890 Pokemon total imagine you've caught 700 of the 890 and all of a sudden Gamefreak says they're sunsetting 600 of the pokemon you've caught 50 of the ones you haven't caught and they're being lvl capped. This isn't even taking into consideration IV and EV points basically what translates to armor stats and weapon rolls. People would flip their shit. Why? Because it's a time investment and nobody likes their time wasted. Why, because not everyone's favorite pokemon, armor, or weapon is the same. Sunsetting can suck a toe and so can bungie and their decision making skills for that matter.
Ps. My analogy is on point.

iTs HeAlThY fOr ThE gAmE. Sunsetting in 2020 is the dumbest idea bungie has come out with. There is literally no good argument to neuter guns people have for no reason. And no, to many players they aren’t old, a lot of people are just getting the guns now that they won’t be able to use soon.
