Skull of Dire Ahamkara, Shards of Galanor, Orpheus Rigs, Ursa Furiosa, and Phoenix Protocol were all nerfed so severely in the one thing they were mainly designed for, Super regeneration, and never got anything back in return.
They at least deserve a rework that enhances the Super instead:
Skull of Dire Ahamkara: Increases the duration, radius, and range (basically it can be thrown with a straighter curve, like Grenades with the Fastball perk equipped) of Vortex Novabomb. Cataclysm Novabomb gains 2 additional Seekers on detonation.
Shards of Galanor: Adds a third wave of knives to Blade Barrage.
Ursa Furiosa: Allies can apply Void Detonators to enemies they damage while firing through Banner Shield.
~Alternative rework: Sentinel Shield does not consume extra energy while guarding. Guarded damage replenishes Shield Throw, and increases Sentinel Shield's damage (both the shield bash and Shield throw attacks).
Phoenix Protocol: Greatly increases the effect of Benevolent Dawn while in Well of Radiance, and allies standing in Well of Radiance are granted Benevolent Dawn. (Basically, it gives Well of Radiance the effect of the Radiance Super, and Song of Flame perk, from Sunsinger in D1).
Orpheus Rigs: Keep the current effect it has for Mobius Quiver, but have it allow the first shot on activation to tether faster. For Deadfall, it should have an effect where tethered enemies you kill turn into additional Void Anchors to tether other nearby enemies.

1 ReplyEdited by Ray: 8/2/2020 12:56:28 AMUrsa is fine. You still get 80% of your super back while making orbs for your team. Real useful in endgame Rigs are fine. This 2 extra shots you get for bottom tree makes it the highest DPS super in the game, even more than celestial. Top tree still gets enough super back to collect a few orbs and pop super again Phoenix is fine. You still get 80% of your super back as long as your killing/assisting. Plus it’s Well...can’t go wrong there Shards are...weird. The super regen is wonky. Sometimes you get a lot back, sometimes you don’t and it seems like it doesn’t even depend on the amount of kills at time. But it is BROKEN in Mayhem or in gambit if it’s overtime lol We don’t speak on Skull...

I mean Phoenix is amazing imo. I use it for public events (especially the moon one) and lots of other situations. I love it ngl
-
1 Replymmm, all exotics can give back 50% supers and ursa even more good exotics for me
-
Hmmm... I love it.
-
Skull and maybe Orpheus Rig are really the only ones that need help. Shards, Ursa, and Pheonix Protocol are still really powerful.
-
Don't touch pheonix or shards. They are amazing.
-
1 ReplyPhoenix Protocol is still excellent. 75% super for killing like ten adds is outrageously good and allows you to use it more liberally instead of just saving it for dps phases. I hear Ursa is still good too, but as Titan is my least played class I couldn't really say much in that regard. The rest sound like some pretty decent ideas tho.
-
3 RepliesWhat if Ursa Furiousa allowed you to pick up your Ward of Dawn and walk around with it like the Ruinous Effigy orb?
-
Don't touch Phoenix Protocol or Ursa, they're both amazing as is. I do agree that Skull needs some help though.
-
Good ideas
-
Only one who really needs is buff is skull, if they touch up all these other ones idk if I can take it anymore.
-
I like. Though I do have to say shards in mayhem is a gd joke.. I’ll kinda miss that
-
4 RepliesI feel like most of these are a bit much, how about we go the other way towards ability regen? For some of them I think it would fit rather nicely
-
No thanks
-
This would instantly kill Ursa and its basically on life support right now 😆

A Non Bungie Employee, Teabag Specialist... Bungie nerf all these because they can be used to have fun and melt bosses, which is a sin to Bungie. This is another reason why orbs are half as powerful as they used to be in year one, and why they changed it where you can't do nine orbs anymore like in D1 Year 1. They hate when we destroy Dregs in the game. This is why bosses have baby bumpers and stomp mechanics that will never go away. They just can't get rid of the supers because then this would just be Halo, and Master Chief doesn't work here no more.

Skull should give Slowva better tracking and infinite duration. I just want to see it squeeze through doorways more often lmao

1 ReplyNo point in making the supers more deadly. although I like the idea, do we really need more deadly supers? Whats to stop me from using something else, get the super, switch to this exotic to make it stronger and then switch out of it once I finish using the super? It just doesn’t seem practical. I rather instead of giving players a flat super amount of energy back, we instead reduce the time it takes to get these supers further. So maybe it gets cut in half for example. Max intellect is what? 3 minutes? Imagine cutting it by another minute? Hmm that sounds op actually nvm lol

I concur with the majority of people commenting. Skull's regen should be buffed but all of the others are fine. I kind of understand Shards, but at the same time i see it less as a get super back for kills exotic and more of a get super back for hitting high level enemies and not killing. It's kinda the opposite of what Nighthawk does energy wise. You get that big damage off and get a headstart on your next barrage.
-
Everything is mostly fine, save for Skull and Shards. Shards does virtually nothing for recharge, even when you hit what you're supposed to, and Skull does actually nothing. You're better off running Nezarec's Sin. It may be a blanket recharge for void abilities, but its still better than Skull.
-
I think the only one that got hurt to the point of embarrassment was Skull. The rest are fine.
-
I agree skull needs a buff. But I dont think the pheonix protocol change is needed, imho its one of the only exotics that didnt get hit too hard with the nerfs.
-
Ursa rework is bad.
-
Ursa Furiosa rework is awful.
-
I still get 80% of my super with Phoenix protocol. Skull was nerfed into the ground, though.

Have you even used the fursia gauntlet things. Dude it’s literally 100% up time if you play smart
