Help! MS account is locked and I'm unable to access my Destiny 2 profile!
I recently lost access to my Microsoft account (long story) and thus can't sign into any MS services, including my Xbox One. I had previously linked my Bungie account with that MS account so of course now I'm unable to log into that Bungie account as it asks me to first login to my MS account. I am trying to recover my Destiny 2 profile so I can continue playing my game under a new MS account. I have a lot of time and money invested in this game and I'd really like to recover my game profile. It seems crazy to me that its synced and backed up with Destiny but that I can't seem to find any way to login now that my stupid MS account is blocked. Please help!

Thanks guys, crap. I was hoping Bungie also kept a sync of the basic account progress. Some companies do this. So it gives you dual progress backup just in case. Shame. MS still has my account blocked, over a month now. Its just so crazy they can do that and not even provide a reason. Just keep directing me to their very generic terms and agreements. I'm going back to Playstation soon as the PS5 drops, Microsoft is a bunch of crooks (ok so no news there but I didn't realize just how little they actually care about their customers). It doesn't matter if you can link your new Xbox profile to your Bungie profile or not. All your Destiny progress is permanently tied to your platform account. That means if you no longer have access to the account you used to play Destiny, you lose all your game progress. If you're playing under a new Xbox profile, you have to start the game from scratch. You cannot transfer anything between different accounts.
