Crash to desktop when hitting enter [pc]
Game crashes from orbit to desktop when I hit enter (does not matter if it is the standard or numpad enter) when trying to bring up chat. Have tried it from orbit, from character select, from tower, and from EDZ. Each time I try to pull up chat to use /join it autocrashes to desktop with no error code. Any ideas?

I am having the same issue, started today after reimaging my PC. Reinstalled everything, drivers, etc. Destiny 2 as so far is the only one I have doing this, and it is when pressing Enter from anywhere, Enter or Return to open chat. https://pastebin.com/zFaPYdAX Pastebin with my DxDiag information.

1 ReplyHi there! If you are crashing straight to the desktop, there should be a log of the issue in your Event Viewer. Review your Event Viewer for any Error-level event messages in your Application logs. Also, please provide your system specs as reported by DxDiag. Do NOT do this when you are running Destiny. - Close any open applications - Click on the Windows icon, then type dxdiag. Only one option should appear. - Let the diag run. If there are any dialog boxes, address them accordingly. - Once it is completed, click the "Save All Information" button. Save it to an easy to remember spot. Once done, close the application. - Open the new text file and copy all of the text. - Go to pastebin.com - Paste all of the text, into the text box. If you want to make it unlisted, make the change on the Paste Type dropdown. Then, click the paste button. - Copy the resulting URL and reply back with it here.
