Bungie. One of my Clan members has received a permanent ban. He tried to appeal. But was told he benefited from a random crucible player. This makes entering the crucible Russian Roulette. Play the crucible at your own risk. My member was matched by the game he does not cheat. But because a person was cheating and my member was in his Destiny 2 matched team. He has lost everything. I think it is disgusting that this can happen. All his hard work and my Clans hard work lost because of a random cheater that the game matched him with. No wonder people are leaving the game. I am a D1 beta all the way through.

Why doesn’t your clan mate post You scared of us seeing a load of trials mates where it is obvious that cheating took place

I am not taking sides here, but wanted to comment. The problem is that he benefited because of the cheater. Once he noticed, (if he noticed), that cheating was going on, he should have left the match. Most cheating is fairly obvious to either side of the coin, so I would have to say its likely he knew something was not right. By staying, he was pretty much saying that he approved of the cheating. I know, from being an xbox ambassador, the xbox also has a policy like this. I would also bet that PSN does as well. If you profit from somebody elses wrong doing, sadly, if you did not remove yourself from the situation, you are just as guilty as the one doing wrong. Now, I understand how frustrating this type of thing is, but you have to understand that staying in a game where somebody is cheating on your side, is just as bad as somebody cheating on the other team. I am sorry that this happened to your clan member, it sucks, but things like this can happen when you stay and benefit from anothers mis-deeds.
But was told he benefited from a random crucible player. This makes entering the crucible Russian Roulette.
This only happens with premade fireteams as it takes more than one match. So he may have been "random" as in a stranger from LFG but it was not a match made team.

Additionally I have advised my 400 Clan members across 3 Clans. To only run crucible in Clan fireteams of 6.

The member in question has never done anything remotely close to foul play. He an active member of the community that contributes to many raid completions as well as help many new players in their grind. To perma ban someone for being in the same team as a cheater/hacker is simply overkill. With the current state of the game, I might as well never touch crucible if it means I'm at risk of a permanent ban.

I can´t see the miss trust when the clan leader says that he dont cheat so why not have some faith in haywire, the person that are in question here is a teamplayer and not a cheater

To get a ban he must have played a lot of consecutive matches with this random cheater.
