I think the community should now start giving better ideas on how to deal with these annoying hackers that just suddenly showed up for the trials of osiris, this is literally ruining this amazing game that I love, and that I am sure, many people feels the same. It is really stupid, the fact that people with not knowledge of code or anything, just pay or download that free hack from reddit, install it and then just become a god of the crucible, especially on Osiris, and then this person with no knowledge of it, t-bags and laugh out loud in front of the other people who is really just trying to play the game, have fun with friends, pretty much, being honest in general, but still facing this annoying situation, and oh yes, somebody can say something like: "Ur JuSt BaD sToP ComPlaInInG anD gEt BetteR", but that's the kind of commentary from somebody who is probably one of those cheaters or just troll who does not even care about playing this game and have fun with it. So, I would like to cheer up community to post their thoughts, like, what can Bungie do to stop this situation, not necessary saying something like "devs should just implement a better anti-cheat tool" because that is not a solution, all games can have hacks, specially on console, so, just thoughts about how Bungie should manage at least the PvP part of the game. My thoughts: - I do think that this great PvP content of Osiris should be something just for people who has all the DLC's and the annual pass included, at least, that would cut off half of the cheaters, and will avoid them for playing the game with hacks, since, they would be forced to buy the exclusive content to access this stuff, so, they would have not only, pay for a high priced hack, but also the game, and running the possibility, of losing the investment on the game, when they can get banned, this would be a more controlled zone for developers, and they can check accounts better and see stuff related to a real player. This would just be for Osiris, do not know and do not want to talk about other thing. - Another thing I consider would really help people on Bungie check cheaters and ban them for ever, would be to check the KDA, and percentage of mastery on weapons, and the light lvl as the super kills and many other kind of cheats that are out there, like how fast characters are moving, and if that movement is possible even with the best equipment etc... basically, check stats, this will tell a lot about a possible hacker, since there are out people with 1900 KDA and only on Osiris, like, that is crazy. - Better check accounts, now, there are a lot of people who just download the game for free, and they create a new account, so they are lvl 1 on steam, they have the account private, they have messages on the account like: "nice cheats" etc... so, that says a lot, and you go see, and they only play pvp, and they have amazing stats, and you are like wow, how a new guys is this good? is he smurfing, is he a god of the crucible, well, that could be checked. - Lastly, but not less important, a really heavy BANHAMMER, maybe a permanent block based on the IP and MAC address of the PC that the cheater was using, so he will never be able to open the game, from this pc, not matter how many new accounts the cheater creates on steam, the system, will immediately ban this user from playing destiny 2 ever again. So, those are pretty much my thoughts, I just wanted to share them, and I would love to see other people thoughts and if Bungie just can do some of all this thoughts, then, that would be great, we will be able to see how much Bungie care about this Gem of game, and also, about the community that talk about this situation, since this not only affects Bungie, that also affects us, as players, we get bored immediately, and instead of having fun, we get out of it angry, with not any kind of feeling to continue playing PVP for the day, even if you are good, you can't do anything to someone who sees you through walks, that tracks you with no failure, that moves at the speed of light, that has super faster etc...
