If that happens, it typically is because you sucessfully completed the step to turn in your talisman to the statue. For the next part of the quest, go to the Tangled Shore, to Four-Horn Gulch, and as you come out of the tunnel into the Gulch, off to the right you should see a floating, glowing Toland orb. Interact with that to start the mission that's the next step in the quest. Having the quest in your quest/bounty screen isn't necessary, as that quest entry didn't exists when Wishender first became available. It was just added in to give players more guidance in-game as to how to get Wishender.
