So recently I got a bit burnt out on destiny 2 and left to play other games. BL the pre sequel, div 1, the og destiny just to name a few. I came back briefly today and was surprised to see that I was just genuinely enjoying the game. I only grabbed bunker bounties because that was all I wanted to prioritise and I had a great time just shooting adds in the head with different weapon types... The reason I'm pointing this out is because I don't believe I would have had this enjoyment if I had kept playing for the last month. So I have a message to bungie to potential solve a problem they and us players are facing... Bungie, you are currently understaffed to roll out the seasonal model, it was showing a tiny bit last season but is blatant this season. Going back to the annual model might benefit you a ton more in this situation. For one, it doesn't fully commit us players to HAVE to fully invest in destiny out of fear of being left behind. I think that the annual model puts a lot less stress on you guys, and provides us with a consistently good, top-quality content model. I know that you want your vision to be an "ever evolving MMO" and I believe you can still achieve that goal. Remember the quest for eris's fireteam from shadowkeep, it would unlock each week if you completed it in the previous week? that could be your key in keeping the world on destiny ever-evolving. Why am I suggesting this, what is the theme to my comments? Allow us, the destiny players from all walks of life, to CHOOSE when to play destiny without sacrificing the experience. This isn't to say that you can't do seasonal stuff, like dawning and festival. I think that removing the seasonal content model would actually put a much more defining tone on this type of updates. This is my suggestion and if any of you great people can add/tweak to this in a constructive way, the sky's the limit...
