Character transferring from cross-save
I don't quite get the cross-save functionality fully, but the context of me posting this is as follows. I don't play D2 on my PS4 anymore. I had planned to not ever go back to playing on my PS4, but I also didn't plan on starting brand new without all of my progress and my characters when I did play Destiny 1 and 2 on PS4. Now that I've moved to steam with all my friends, I'm having trouble with clan creation for us all because of the cross-save, and it seems that if I disable it, I'll have to make new characters for steam. Is it not possible to transfer all progress completely over from one platform to another? Am I stuck having to play my characters as if I were playing data shared from my PS4 instead of ported permanently to steam?

2 RepliesThat's not the point of Cross save, Cross save allows you to use one save on all your accounts, they do not merge or transfer accounts. What is the issue with clan creation you are having?

No. Cross save can not and will not migrate or merge data from platform to another one.
