I’ve just tried to put this game into perspective. It will never be competitive. Balance is pretty much out the window. Now when i die to heavy, cheap weapons/abilities(i.e. high impact fusions with backup plan, arbalest, hand held supernova, etc) i just shrug, instead of getting mad. Pvp is and has been neglected so it’s whatever. Feedback on broken or cheap stuff goes unaddressed for SO long. Oppressive skill based matchmaking in every playlist except one, and team balancing that punishes good players in “casual” modes makes no sense. It’s exhausting. Just my opinion.

Said perfectly. This is the game. This is how its going to be. Whatever pipe dreams these people have that the crucible is going to fair and balanced is laughable. It will never be balanced perfectly. This is what the game is. Its identity. Chaos. Supers. Ridiculous one hit kills. Thats why subliminally everybody keeps playing crucible. The power. See you in the crucible. Maybe your erentil may kill me from 40m. Maybe you will get that jump snipe. Maybe the hhsn will be around the corner. But you still log in and play because you might be on the winning end and it feels good.

Don’t get me wrong, i want more balance, more frequent pvp sandbox updates, less cheap abilities/weapons, and more rewarding pvp activities. Hopefully with time it’ll happen, but for right now i don’t care anymore because it’s exhausting complaining about unbalanced stuff when it’s not gonna change.
