They tell us light level doesn’t matter because they don’t play the game cozmo sitting at 927 is proof the devs don’t play their game . Fix light level get rid of the stupid artifact ,everyone hates it . It’s game breaking and not fun

Cozmo is just the community managers, he isn't a Dev. But it does say something that one of the community managers doesn't really play the game. On Warframe, their community managers play the game so they can better understand the feedback and what needs tuning. And they actually take time to chat with players, not every single one but they do interact. Which is another thing Cozmo doesn't do

lol, you think Cozmo doesn't understand That man could out knowladge you on every level, weapons, gear, loadouts, maps, activities maybe even enlighten you on some things you don't know. i'd love to see you for even an hour in his shoes, I wonder how many people you'd manage to interact with

I am sure he could out knowledge me about all that stuff, but it is his Job and i barely play if you look at my history. it would be rather disappointing if a Bungie employee didnt know more than a self admitted casual to the game. oh and with this reply, i have already interacted with more people than Cozmo and i aint even getting paid. if you see his generic replies, he just hits is min of 3-5 posts on the forum for the week and goes back under his rock

let me ask you this... do you have thorough understanding of what a community manager does ? secondly, just because someone is at low power level does not meant that they don't play, it literally means nothing especially since you don't know what else he has and not everyone plays for rewards mind I remind you. You also have no way of knowing how many ppl he interacted with in the same time span (not only B.net is social) plus add coworkers. And yes he does know much more than a aforementioned casual. You should understand one thing about generic reply's, if not only for what it says but also to say.. hey i'm busy but you got my attention.

i do have a good understanding to what a Community manager does, i have chatted with Warframe community managers and they will actually chat with people once you have their attention. heck i even had one join my session to help me grind for parts for a Warframe i really wanted. and i am not going off his gear level to determine he hasnt played recently, i am going off his history on his profile. it shows he has only played once in the last month. that is what i am saying when i say he doesnt play

A good chunk of it is gathering feedback and interacting with players to get that feedback, and giving it to the people that make the changes

also a good chunk is behind the scenes, seting things in motion or ending them. i think your undestanding might be based on what other companys "community managers" told you and that is not to say they are wrong but you have to remember each company has a different structure based on their product. Honestly i can see a sinister side of those "managers" that you mentioned but i'll keep that to myself.

That is fair, it does sound like they do things differently over there so it isn't a direct comparison. They also rely on micro transactions solely. I have also heard stories about one of their community managers banning people from their forums for tiny offenses. But as a casual, I see other community managers doing live streams, actually chatting with players, playing with players and whatnot, then I see cozmo and DMG using just copy and paste replies and I think that should not be acceptable. I guess I just seen them set the bar higher and didn't temper my expectations to the Bungie bare minimum so that is on me

I had to try 🙃 I am sure they work hard at what they do, but they just aren't as visible as others in other games, which is why I feel like they are doing the bare minimum.
