Bungie, adjust hunters cooldowns, its getting silly

So with the recent changes to stats, we now have hunters using their dodge every 9 seconds or so. That means Dragon shadow buff is permanent, Wormusk is saving them every engagement, they have almost unlimited melee and dodge abilities right now, they can troll you with Jesters every time, and bomb you every nine seconds. Everything that is tied to do dodge is just insane. That is on top of being the most mobile class, with the best mobility, the fastest class, best in PvP and decent in PvE. Hunters are now everywhere. They had the best class ability before, but now its just silly. To make the matters worse, you can just abuse new "powerful friends" mod, that gives +20! mobility, and gain 100 with relative ease. Bungie, can you explain the reasoning behind it? Hunters were great before this buff, now they are dominating everything PvP related. Did the most played class, that had a ton of success in PvP, had the best neutral game, good supers, in dire need of this buff? Clearly both dragon shadow and wormhusk were not designed to be available every engagement. There were not meant to have 100% uptime, like they have now. Surely you could get something similar before with many paragon mods, but you had to sacrifice a lot of other stats. Now you just get that for free when you max out mobility. You can now have both 100 mobility and 100 recovery. Its hard, but its doable. Or just have 50 mobility and use Dragons shadow. When you compare what is available to hunters right now, and the position they are in - its clear that other classes have disadvantage when compared to them. Hunters get to be mobile, can cheat cooldowns, can literally evade death (hello wormhusk) every fight, and everyone else has to rely on OHK gimmicks (like HHSN), or broken exotics (like OEM) to even stay relevant. So can we please adjust the hunters, and at least give Warlocks normal melee speed, and have some semblance of balance in PvP?

  • this is how it will always be unfortunately, ever since d1 I remember hunters being the underdog class and now history is kind of repeating itself we get a ohk knife on one class which I'm happy for hunters to have now people are saying to take it out. we get dodge back in 10.5 seconds an ability at base that reloads your weapon or grants melee energy in proximity to an enemy. needs to be put in line... I don't feel like it's the core ability that is the issue it's the creativity of the people utilizing it and pairing it with coincidentally a pretty powerful artifact perk, getting an overshield and the ability to survive some decent light arms fire with worm husk as well is annoying yes, but is it really worth whining over? not rly, based on the amount of stuff I see people complain about on these forums a dodge seems like the least of your unoriginal jabs at abilities YOU find problematic.
