Wish-ender is not slightly broken, it completely breaks the PVE game. It's a primary weapon that melts bosses as quick as most heavy weapons. When was the last time you used Unstoppable Rounds when you could instead just kill it with a few bow hits? I know I haven't. It breaks core mechanics of the game.

 • As opposed to using the burden? Which is also a primary and doesn't "break" the game. Why would it break the game when it doesn't effect pvp in any way so only person it effects is the person playing,

 • Izanagi's Burden is NOT a primary weapon, it is a special weapon. The difference is accessibility to ammo. If Wishender was a Special weapon with ammo tuned to be in line with special weapons, then you might have a point. So tell me, do you want Wishender to have 25 ammo and only pick up 4-5 shots per special brick? If you answered no, then your argument is completely pointless.

 • And you keep using Wishender as a crutch while it lasts.

 • Thank you for the feedback. However, I will not stop speaking the truth about Wishender. It is clearly broken. I understand that people like using it, it's definitely fun, but it completely makes mechanics of the game irrelevant. I did a 980 nightfall yesterday with all 3 of us using Wishender just for fun. We could literally just stand in the back and kill every add, including Champions, without any issue. It makes endgame content a joke without any level of challenge. Just because you need the weapon as a crutch doesn't mean it shouldn't be fixed.

 • Shut up with crutch non sense. It's a game. Might as well have 1 weapon for the game.

 • The "It's a game" argument doesn't hold water. Basically you are saying that glitches and balancing don't matter in PVE period. I'll agree that it matters a whole lot less in PVE compared to PVP, but that doesn't mean the game shouldn't be balanced at all. Remember back in the days of Last Wish and SotP when Whisper was the only viable weapon to use? It was a weapon that was so powerful that it made no sense to use anything else. The gun received nerfs because it made difficult content trivial. Also remember The Reckoning where it was balanced around class builds where you could continuously spam supers. Having these types of OP weapons and builds is not good for the game. In the case of Wishender, not only was it OP, it was due to a glitch. If you have used the weapon since the fix, it is not completely irrelevant, just put in line with other Exotic primaries.
Might as well have 1 weapon for the game.
What does this even mean? Are you saying you can't use any other weapon? Isn't that the definition of a crutch? Just saying :)

 • What about izanagis and the divinity load out it kills everything in pve so what’s one more. Izanagis is in the kinetic slot and takes special ammo but it’s basically the same. Also I don’t see wishender in GOS hmm wonder why

 • Saying Wishender and Izanagi's Burden are "basically the same" because they are both Kinetic weapons is a terrible argument. One is a primary weapon and one is a special weapon. Let's compare Wishender to Izanagi's Burden for a moment in terms of total damage output. Let's say that 1 shot of Wishender is equivalent to 1 shot of Izanagi before Honed Edge (I think Wishender actually does more damage currently, but let's just go with it). You can get 5 Honed Edge x4 shots off using your entire ammo reserves, resulting in 25 Wishender shots worth of damage. Wishender holds 60 shots which is over 2x the total damage output as Izanagi. On top of that, it uses primary ammo instead of special ammo, meaning ammo is more plentifully available and you get more shots per brick. In order to bring Wishender in line with Izanagi, you would need to bring ammo capacity down to 25 and pick up 4-5 shots per special ammo brick. The thing people are not considering is that players do not use Izanagi's Burden on anything besides bosses or difficult majors like Champions, meaning they can save ammo for those encounters. Currently, players are using Wishender on anything that moves and not conserving ammo, it's not an apples to apples comparison. Divinity doesn't really change the equation because it buffs both weapons. So why do you not see Wishender in GoS. Two reasons: 1. The 3rd encounter boss does not consistently take the extra damage that is part of the bug, most likely because the boss is moving. If the extra damage was applied, it would be an easy 2 phase. Which leads me to Number 2. 2. Izanagi has higher DPS. Damage and DPS are not the same thing. For example, if you are going against the Pit of Heresy boss, you want to use Anarchy since it has a higher total damage output and the damage window is much longer. In the end, it is clear that Wishender is broken as hell, especially given that people are comparing it to a special weapon that shoots 5 shots over the entire reserves...

 • I’m not comparing it and I did say it takes special ammo I’m pointing out how 2 kinetic weapons primary or special can do more damage than any heavy in the game but who really cares I know I don’t. This is a debate for another time. Ty for your feed back it was good
