For future ritual weapons:

If things continue as they currently are for ritual weapons and seasonal mods, I feel that adding unstoppable, barrier, or disruption rounds onto the season's ritual weapons would actually give them a reason to exist and see use. As it is, I, and every member of my clan that I've interacted with this season aren't using the ritual weapons we all farmed because they just don't stand out. Giving them the ability to have a seasonal mod inherently AND the ability to have a non-seasonal mod of your choice tacked on would make even my least favorite ritual weapon something to consider bringing along for current content. Just a thought I had that a fellow clan member suggested I put forth here. Thanks for your time!

  • I've used The Vow more than I've used a ritual weapon. And that's the bow from last years crimson days

  • There's nothing unique about ritual weapons. Every single one of them comes with rolls that can be found on exact same archetypes easily obtained elsewhere. Without any unique perks or perk combinations, ritual weapons are just legendary shards & enhancement cores you have to obtain for a seasonal badge & title.

  • I would've liked it if they made it where once you earn a ritual weapon, it starts to drop from that activity randomly with random rolls. It would be a start for players in Year 3 who don't have enough things that they don't already have to chase in those activities. That's just my opinion though.

  • The real question is... did the previous and current Ritual weapons have special pinnacles perks but Bungie removed them because they realized pinnacles caused problems?🤔🤔🤔

  • That would really limit what weapons are useful and keep people’s load outs stagnant. The purpose of the changing weapons for the mods seems to be getting people to use different weapons each season. What you suggest sort of undermines that intent.
