Shadowkeep introduced the pinnacle grind, raising your power from 950 to 960, and this was continued in Season 9 with those going 960 to 970. However if you don't own Shadowkeep (or if you play across platforms and don't own Shadowkeep on each) you ability to grind powerful activities is very limited to: • 4 x Iron Banner bounties per character (per event, roughly 1 per month) • 3 x Haunted Forrest bounties (total per season) If you own Shadowkeep, you also get PER WEEK: • 4 x Raid rewards • 1 x Pit of Heresy • 1 x Nightmare Hunt • 1 x 100k Nightfall Basically my issue is that there is no weekly Pinnacle reward that doesn't require the DLC, nothing tied to the Seasonal activity, and that seems to me to be the bigger offender. The encouragement is to buy the season pass, but for the power grind, there's no benefit whatsoever, its purely a gear grind. Why not make the weekly seasonal activity a pinnacle reward? That would add another incentive to play the seasonal activity more often if you're not that bothered by the weapon loot.
