It’s RNG,
In relation to the armor from the forges,
You have a 20 percent chance of getting what you want and 80 percent chance of getting anything else.
So the odds are not weighted towards specific items in a loot pool.
As for the exotic thing, it’s RNG.
Best way to get exotics these days is to run the NF Ordeal 950 since the drop like candy.

ITs not rng its a bug, we are talking 45-50 ignitions with polymer and 2 weekly bounties per week that also drop armor, never saw boots apart from the first drop like 4 months ago. Regarding exotics, its also a bug, im running 950s, previously once in every 3-5 runs i had exotic drop, now i did around 10 and no drop at all.
