Yes. Season passes are add-on content, similar to season passes for other games (fortnite, forza, Apex Legends, Etc) and as such they are not shareable via console game share features.

Thanks, I was avoiding paying for a bunch of season passes.

I bought both my kids the first season, told them if they played it enough to reach rank 50 I would buy the 2nd, if not they would need to save up if they wanted the 2nd season.
