The Real Problem with Vex Offensive(Undying Mind)

There was too many world building elements the led into hype filled event. Aside from it being shallow content, there was just way too much build up for the let down that it is. Ikora having the Vex gate built in the tower made everyone think it was gonna be a big deal. Vex Offensive also tried way to hard to be Menagerie without what made it fun. We need as many of these topics like this trending, so Bungie knows they messed this one up. You owe to yourself to upvote any posts you see like this.

Disagree. The only mistake Bungie made with this was by putting it on the Season Roadmap. When they did that, they **suggested** that the Final Offensive would have a size and scale that they ultimately didn't deliver on. Had Bungie not done that...and simply let all this be a suprise (kind of like how Invitations From The Nine unfolded) I think this would have been well-recieved. But in putting it on the Roadmap, people expected it to be of the same size and scale as other events on the Roadmap....and it wasn't. So it came accross as a Vex Offensive being given a reskinned boss...and then hyped as a "new" event. ...and People are getting mad. I think they are over-reacting....but I get why they're upset.
