Edited by Lyrro: 11/15/2019 1:34:26 AMAs TuxyDoh explained, there are pretty much infinite reasons to get banned on pc. Anything from 3rd party gaming programs running in the background of your computer, to viruses that tamper with your D2 files. There's a reason I tell people to buy D2 on console if they insist on buying it, and that's the reason. It doesn't matter if the program/virus affected D2 while you were playing. Doesn't matter if it was a cheat engine that didn't function with D2 and thus was not being used but it was still running in the background. If there is a program running that Bungie didn't like, they'll ban you. If there's a virus on your computer that tampers with files and it finds your D2 folder, you're banned. Bungie doesn't care what the program was intended for, or even if it was in use. If it's running, and it's on their list of no goes, you're banned. They don't care what your excuse is, even if it was just a virus and you had no way of knowing, you're still banned and Bungie "doesn't discuss bans".

Ignorance of the rules doesn't exempt you from them. Your account is done. There is literally nothing you can do about it. So your only two options are to buy the content again or move on. If you pray hard enough maybe just maybe the monkey that runs the BNGSecurity account will care enough to give you an extremely vague reason as to why a punishment was issued. Here's some examples of other kids who "did nothing wrong" that the BNGSecurity account replied to. http://imgur.com/a/jBV3uqq Pick your poison and live with it

Edited by TuxyDoh: 11/15/2019 1:45:03 AMTypically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Bans are lifetime for that account https://twitter.com/Bungie/status/1179836392953675776 <- Most recent info bans and restrictions policy page *I am not a Bungie representative, just a player trying to give the answers that are available.
Hello today i was shocked after discovring that i got banned in Destiny2 it was the first time in i think 4 to 5 months that i started Destiny 2 after transfering my Data to steam. and today i buyed Shadowkeep and installed Destiny 2 only to see that i got banned FOR WHAT?
