I'm just saying

In my honest opinion, majority of the forum complains about stuff they just aren't good at or don't have sense enough to get good at, and thats fine, we cant all be good at everything. There is literally only about 1% of the forum that have legitimate complaints.....im sick of the crying😒😒😩

    • I don't want to fight against good people and I should be allowed to leave the matchmaking. Did that make it more pleasant? No, you call it "crying" because you disagree with the thought and your natural instinct is to frame it as crying because it's easier to silence wrongthink that way. It's a very smooth rhetorical strategy really. But at its core it's a strategy. What you mean to say is "I don't like these wrongthinkers thinking wrongly". Why accuse others of dishonesty when you are yourself being dishonest? Just a thought

      • You don’t have to read the forums if you don’t want to. They are here for players to give feedback and have discussions. Your personal criteria for those things is meaningless.

This is so true, and needed to be said for a long time. 90% of the opinions I see on here are the polar opposite of how anyone I play the game with feels. The majority of posts that get upvoted are entitled casual players that are bad at the game and think things need to be made easier for them, or they don't understand video game development or the industry and repeat the same stupid and uneducated accusations about Bungie that they hear other people make. To be clear, because I know one of their ranks will try to say I'm bashing casual players (in fact I'm sure someone will still make that accusation, but at least now they'll look like an idiot), I'm not saying there's anything wrong with being a casual player. I have friends who play D2 casually. I play other games casually. The problem is casual players who demand that they be catered to over the core player base, often times to the point that they legitimately want to change Destiny's identity as a whole. Not only is it entitled, idiotic, and unfair to the veteran Destiny community, it's also just not gonna happen. Bungie already tried this approach when they marketed Destiny 2 as a generic shooter game and launched it as a half-baked, casual game meant to be played for a couple of weeks and then put down. And it failed so badly it almost killed Destiny permanently. I don't mind saying it... If you're one of the people I described, I don't want you in this community. The community and the game is better off without you. Go play Minecraft.

Lot of idiots in here missing the point. You just suck at getting ability kills. Free lance wont fix shit teammates. Match making end game content wont make you magically able to do it. Easy tasks shouldn't give pinnacle drops. They're pinnacle for a reason. Ive only seen two valid complaints in the past week. Bungie sucks at bug testing and some Eververse stuff should be cheaper.

        • You are complaining about a community that you are voluntarily a part of. No one forced you to log onto this forum.... or respond.... or read anything 😂😂😂 BTW.... by your logic that must mean you are terrible at interacting with a community on a forum..... 😂

              • I just like the opposing view whining posts, people who shotgun whine about fusions, people who snipe whine about scouts and pulses. Warlocks and Titans whine about Hunters, Hunters whine about Walrocks and Titans, etc. Hunters whine about how they are weak and everything else is OP, even though they dominate most aspects of PvP.

              • It's fairly standard that when there is a point of contention between players, that there is never one single thread dedicated to that particular discussion. For as long as forums have existed, people have repeated the same arguments literally one right after the other, likely due to the fact that they want to be engaged about their individual take on the matter. This can seem like a nuisance because of course most people ask, "What is the point in having repeat discussions with nearly identical responses and with very little resolution being had along the way?" Well, it may not seem productive in any manner. And to be honest, I'm sure it detracts from some more interesting conversations that could be had... But, I'd say if several people are generating the same complaints, it might not necessarily imply that all of those complaints are valid, but it may in turn cause those being addressed in the complaint, to pause and reflect and maybe even reassess the supposed issue to determine if maybe the complaints actually do possesses some level of validity. It seems Bungie has actually been trying to do this, by engaging and taking into consideration some of the concerns being voiced; which in such a large community is actually a lot harder than I think a lot of people can appreciate. You'll get used to the repeat threads. I know they can seem exhausting but it's just part of the territory.

                  • I get where you’re coming from, if people just realized that it’s just a game and not their life, maybe they’d get over it. And yes a lot of complaints are from people who simply suck, but the real problem is they won’t accept it; they’ll always find something to blame (but that’s not to say that they can’t get better).
