If I'm not mistaken that model is similar to the SUROS type Scout Rifle model. So you want to look out for Scout Rifles called Metronome-52, Tango-45, Tango-45 XK5094, Tone Patrol or the Sonata-48.
You might be able to check them out in the Collections. Most of those are random drops from any source, except for the Tango-45 XK5094, that one is a random drop from Forges or Forge Saboteurs.

You're correct, my bad. I just checked it myself in the game and from the front it looks different than what I thought. It somewhat reminds me of a FWC Scout Rifle in Destiny 1, but I can't remember the name. Would be cool to have that model available in Destiny 2!
