This season's Iron Banner is disgusting
Mainly because of the quest to get the IB armor. Don't force people to use weapons they don't want to use like fusion rifles. Everyone's running Erentil / Recluse cause of the quest and its super annoying also getting old reallyyy quick. I didn't have fun doing it at all.
In the future dont make weapon based objectives for PvP...
Also wtf is up with these laggy players

4 RepliesOmfg! You can’t be serious, this season’s iron banner was perfect, it was just the right amount of grind (was actually very easy) they did a great job. Be happy they make you try new stuff, embrace it. I hated fusion rifles, but after using them in iron banner for quest I actually enjoy them now, very fun to use. Bungie has forced me to learn many different play styles and as frustrating as it is, I’m always satisfied at the end. Save the complaints for the right moments, this season’s iron banner isn’t one of em.

2 RepliesI did it on a character in one night of playing, it really wasn't that bad. Especially considering how it was last time. Only annoying thing is if you weren't leveled enough.

Everyone using a fusion for a couple days made it pretty challenging to shoulder charge. My K/D definitely took a dip. Lol

This is what i see every time i see one of these posts: Players- “Bungie, we’re sick of everyone just running the same three weapons every match!” Bungie- “This Iron Banner, in order to hand your tokens in to Lord Saladin you’ll need to complete a short quest that will shake up your loadout!” Players- “Bungie, stop making us change our weapons!”

That kinda got to me to, all I wanted was 3-4 pieces of armor should have taken 15-20 minutes and been done “ I hate pvp” but being forced to do a quest just to get them felt annoying

Um, hate to break it to you but everyone's running Recluse and Erantil because those two weapons are broken in the "-blam!-ing stupid kind of damage" way. Erantil one-shots at insane ranges no fusion rifle has any business being in and thanks to "Master at Arms" Recluse is basically a handheld heavy machine gun (but with triple the firing rate and no waiting around for heavy ammo). The IB quest has absolutely nothing to do with it I'm afraid.

Doesn't want to use a variety of different weapons. Complains it gets OLD. Lol, I enjoyed it. Best Iron banner quest/bounty in at least a year! Don't like challenges out of your comfort zone in a pinnacle pvp activity, go back to quickplay or strikes

Suck it up and try it, I dont use any of the weapons the IB quest required but was able to knock the whole quest out in 2 hours.

Edited by Trax: 10/21/2019 6:13:13 PMThe only issues I has with the quest were how it did the steps. I have no issues getting X kills with Y weapon but you should be able to do all concurrently. That way you can adjust load out based on random map and play to win the match. Not just play to get a kill with this a specific weapon. Or better yet make it so you need so many kinetic, energy, and power kills.

1 ReplyYep, boring af... i don't like IBs, light-based damage done, and this one is full of tards with scout/pulses, it's annoying.. everyone camping on the edges teamshooting that crappy and easy to use weapons... im not gonna play it anymore... i'd rather play classic mix all day

3 RepliesThe scour the rust quest is bs.... First it's one gun then it changes to another all for the same quest line... Like add a line that says step 1 of 5 then list what it is so we don't have to be surprised with another ultra grindy process, just to spend iron banner tokens. To make things worse all my fusion rifles have insane ramp up times so kills with it are so messed up to get. I mean in pvp u have a short amount of time to kill as is. And what makes it worse the other ones I have are either disabled because of game glitches for damn near instant supers (thanks again telesto) or it's a heavy weapon. I'm like halfway thru and I'm reading that the quest is bugged also

Easiest quest to do. Hell the last step auto completes now cause it was bugged making it very simple.

I hated using certain weapons but I also discovered a couple Id never used before that I liked. Overall it was worth it for the power bump at the end. Maybe they should have a giant plate in the tower you have to inspect and the latest gear is on that waiting for people?
