Just make Destiny 2 and all of the current expansions into one set price and make play time subscription based. Like say, $10-15 a month to keep playing?
With constant subscriptions coming in, this eliminates the need for eververse and encourages more effort on the devs to make the game better.

What do you think the season passes are for? I just paid my $60 sub to cover me for the whole year.

Hahaha if I had to pay a monthly fee for this game I would uninstall

You would have to make subscriptions optional like Elder Scrolls online. A required subscription isn’t tolerated, WoW gets a pass purely for nostalgia and dedicated player base

Sure they could add more staff, but they would still have to work out bugs and meet more stringent deadlines. Perhaps they could have dedicated servers at that point as well. For me, having a $10-$15 monthly subscription amounts to hundreds more that I wouldn’t be able to spend to enjoy my game of choice. I’m content with what I’ve paid for what I’m getting. Is it perfect ? No. I still enjoy this game. I’m personally not concerned with what Eververse has, or doesn’t have. I’m not worried about how cool my weapon looks while I’m using it. But that’s just me. I understand that there are others that don’t feel the same way. That’s cool. I’ve paid for Shadowkeep and the Seasons Pass and I’ll see where it takes me. It’s only Oct. 18. The most recent incarnation of this game is only 17 days old. There’s a long ways to go to see where Bungie is taking things. Sure there will be ups and downs, but there simply isn’t pleasing everyone.
