Iron Banner is full of 960s
I thought I was going to be high level @ 940. jeez there are some sweats out today

Lol i know, i love being shoulder charged or hit with blade barrage and living through them, then outplaying the other guy and killing him. Must suck to use your super and not kill anybody 😮

2 Replies2 weeks, with the 3rd already started is more than enough for a mediocre player to reach 950 on gear light. I have friends who play literally 1 hour a day being 950 since Friday. They did not play competitive, nor did the reckoning titan glitch. Any player bellow 940 should start doing his weekly challenges and stop complaining about sweats or players who progress through the game more efficiently than them.

Sniper is prolly your best friend or a Bow. High impact frame sniper can drop someone with higher power leve. At 910 doming 960s

2 RepliesPlaying at 935 is the worst Crucible experience I've ever had, and that's saying A LOT. I shouldn't be able to tell if someone's a 960 as soon as I start shooting them because they have twice the health of a 920. Either bungie was lazy and didn't play test this, or they did and they're on drugs.

Its better to go in lower,you get more progress towards quests when defeating higher levels. I honestly don't notice any difference from 900 and 960

I'm like 930 and not really having any issues. First IB of the season needs to be played differently than the others, you're probably not going to be king shit of murder mountain at common light levels.

And when I went to raid on day 1 at 920+ level, people were already 940. Luckily contest mode was on so no one could point fingers at low light levels like me. IB is also an endgame thing like Raids, Legend/Master NF, etc.

Recluse is a pain in the butt to counter at close range if you're not 960. Gotta play the long sight lines if you're a lower light level.

1 ReplyI started at 934 Ran through all quests and bounties using Redrix, Vow and an LMG .. except for the Fusion, SMG part.. but once done I went right back to Redrix and Vow. Did fairly well all night. Iron Banner has always been a different PvP experience. It's a mode that definitely plays different. So what works in normal Crucible might get you wreaked here. Try different loadouts, tactics.. Always push the zones.

2 RepliesEither play an unhealthy amount or used the comp glitch. You'd have to play pretty hardcore with the current levelling system to be that high in 2 weeks. I'm about as efficient as it's gets when I get on but ain't bothered as enjoying borderlands too much. Inb4 all the people who are high tell me how easy it is...don't care.

I went in at 901 and still managed to do decent. I do believe IB shouldn’t be light enabled however and always have thought that. You just have to play smart in order to not get to smacked around. Your worst enemy is really premades.

I was 920, let's just say my kd wasn't great. That's my bad for using whatever was highest light instead of my usual guns.

4 RepliesAnd what? I'm gonna complete quest on my main and then complete it on another two characters who have 750 light. Like I do every iron banner. More light give you advantages, but that's not mean instawin in match.
