Anyone still here from the Halo days?
Miss signing in and reading topics about “BK’s” and getting out BR’d.
I remember having to sign in to Bnet to see how close we were to a rank up or down back in H2. Getting blue flames in Reach, good times. Reach era specifically was kind of crazy forum wise.
If so, do you still play MCC or have you moved on completely? I personally do, they’ve cleaned it up finally after all these years and it works quite well. It gives me a good escape when space magic becomes monotonous, lol.

Didn't bother migrating it over during the great purge of 2010, leaving me with that Reach era join date. I cri. Halo will always be my first FPS love.

I wasn’t active on the forums here back in the Halo days, but I remember back around Halo 2 I would check Bungie.net to see my game history and crappy stats for some reason.

1 ReplyI am replaying all the campaigns and re-achievement hunting on MCC lately. I had them all on their earlier releases, but now I'm trying to knock out all of them again. I don't play the multi player anymore though. Reach and 343 in 4 & 5 broke Halo. I know I could go back to the H2 & 3 lobbies, but without my old clan, it just wouldn't be the same structured domination. I'd rather remember that than playing with randoms.

Got my Blue Flames that I still use to this day from this app. Then after the Microsoft split and Bungie going dark for Destiny 1, oh and the ill fated Bungie program that spawned Crimson Steam Pirate game. Destiny speculation days back when #Destiny wasn’t a cesspool of just angst and people using the site for the first time. Eventually after the Destiny 1 Vanilla controversy, I been hanging out here, throwing a shit post every so often. Now, I have a want to play old Halos but I know if I do I just think about the new breed and just want to stop. Destiny 2 is my current shooter, I guess you can say I just been a Bungie fan for a decade now.

2 RepliesBefore my hardrive fried on my 360 during a lightning storm, yes I was here during H3. I grew up playing HCE and started my first XBL account on H2 with the OG Xbox. I was in KSI Spitfire, when KSI wasn't a bunch of -blam!- who acted like sweaty tryhards. At one point I remember a few folks moving to 360 which had the ability to change your gamertag which was a big deal at the time so you could have "KSI" in your tag. I didn't get into the whole forum browsing on the internet till H3 because I finally had a personal computer. I rarely posted anything, just lurked. Then my hardrive fried and I couldn't recover my account because I forgot the password and Earthlink was non-existant at that point so I had no chance of recovering it through said Earthlink email.
