I could not for the life of me think of a simple title that explained this post. Sorry in advance.
Anyway, some players are of the opinion that endgame has become trivialized by well/luna, as this combo can create an almost unstoppable team for dps and safety. I don't have a problem with this, it's a super, and it only lasts a set amount of time. The biggest issue perhaps is that it makes raid bosses easy to one phase.
Again I don't have a problem with that, so maybe before it gets nerfed, here's an alternative idea.
Bring back a Hard or prestige Mode for the next raid. It doesn't have to have fancy new mechanics, or enemies, simply bring the light level up so the final encounter is always above max light.
And then give the boss 1 ability: he drains the entire teams supers right before the dps phase.
WOULDN'T THAT BE THE ULTIMATE BOSS TROLL? The destiny community that enjoys a real challenge can take on the hard boss and do it without their supers.
Rewards? you could guarantee masterwork drops on each encounter or mods, and then offer a exclusive emblem, and a drop chance for an exotic sparrow, ghost, emote or ship. You could make it a requirement for the title too. I'd offer more, but that might be beyond their ability.
Feel free to tell me my idea is poo, but I think that would be a funny boss mechanic for the try-hards.

We currently are getting hard mode. The version they are no longer making is the normal mode.

Edited by thechair: 8/7/2019 7:30:39 PMThe whole point of this is its ok for the current base raids to be the 'easy' mode in the sense that bosses are easy to one phase. If players want a challenge you can create one without much work that rewards their efforts.
