How to do 100 mini boss
Step 1) Gather or LFG a fire team of 3 willing to cooperate
Step 2) Load into EAZ. The run must be Cabal and 0 of 3 mini bosses. If it isn’t Cabal it won’t work. If it’s Cabal but with 0 of 2 mini bosses it won’t work.
Step 3) Wait till timer runs out and 3 bosses spawn. Kill 2 and ignore the third. Stay near center so the last boss wanders around not shooting you
Step 4) A psion Engineer will drop from a ship near the center. Have your entire group damage him in someway to get progress. Repeat this
Tips:
• Don’t shoot the last boss. If it dies the event is over and you have to get lucky and get Cabal 0 of 3 minibosses
• If the third boss sees you, have teammate lead him away from the center so they don’t bother you while try to kill psions
•Check progress routinely to make sure you getting it
•Took me about 1 hour to kill 100 psions, better this than one month

2 RepliesSo the one and only issue with the cheese, which I found out this morning, LOTS of easy mini boss kills - check, LOTS of elemental orbs - check, 50 chests opened opps DAMN. Now more runs for more worthless chests :(

The other strat is sitting there and do EAZ until you get it, but obviously it’s obnoxious.

Cheese forever guardian!!!! . . . . In all honesty, it takes over an hour and it’s monotonous as hell. It may actually be quicker to farm as a fireteam repeated runs and just leave and reload once the timer runs out 🤷🏻♂️

8 RepliesGuess this explains it. Joined a match were they were already in the boss phase just went and killed the last boss so I could get into a new match faster and back to grinding out the 100 kills. Both of them ran up shooting at me then left without the chests, was so confused. XD

I think it’s faster to get a lfg team and just go mini boss to mini boss with your team then after the timer runs out just load the EAZ again. I was getting around 8-10 every 6 min or so

I'd prefer to run it the normal way. That way, I'd get more packages, which I can get the re-rolled perks on the Solstice armors.

Do it normally, collect more packages so you won’t grind it out anyways for good rolls

I was doing this last night. It was with randoms though. Me and another player were doing this, but the third guy didn't know what was up and he finished off the third boss. - smh -

1 ReplyIt only took me prolly 2 hours to do it legit, and you can progress other things like orbs when you do it the legit way. You can also just tag the mini boss with a sniper or sumn and let them kill it, and you get progress in the quest just for tagging the mini boss.

It will take a bit longer to find a game though For step 2, when you start the event, if the Cabal boss has the shoulder launchers (Gladiators I think?), it’s the right one For step 3, you can get away with killing 1 boss and the engineer will spawn. You might be able to get away with not killing ANY of them, but 1 boss is defiantly enough for the engineer to spawn If you get harassed or are leading the boss away when the engineer spawns in, you can find him easily by looking for the turrets or the orange shield. Take pot shots at the war beasts from the wall to help pass the time between engineers spawning.

- pause the game - get out of the game and into your console settings - set you date of your console to a date in the past - press set .. - get back into the game - load into the EAZ - check if you are alone or if someone joins you - if someone joins, back out, do it again.. - repeat until you hae an empty instance in the eaz - check if its cabal.. - no cabal , get out, try again - wait until boss comes. - three spire of stars guys? - no , start up a new EAZ run - spire of stars / volundr forge cabal gu? great. kill 2 of the three - get in the middle back wait until something about an "engineer" pops up.. - kill the engineer - wait 45 seconds.. - kill the engineer - repeat 99 times. - finish.

2 RepliesThis in my opinion takes much longer than just running it till boss phase and leaving. Now I will put that you should still have an organized group as ditching people is a crappy move. I ran it this way on my hunter and Titan. I did the cabal strat on my warlock. Waiting 40-60 seconds between spawns adds up. Also randomly the boss agros you and you get random waves of trash mobs.
