Wasn't sure whether to put this in feedback or rewards, so I just went with rewards. I know this post won't be seen by many, but it's my only chance at adding to whatever word there is out there on the matter, and it really matters to me. I initially played Destiny 2 on Xbox One, same platform I played Destiny 1 on. I eventually moved to PC shortly before Forsaken dropped, leaving behind my slew of exclusive veteran emblems, now unobtainable year 1 weapons, armor, emblems, shaders, etcetera. I would so love to have access to these items in my collections upon cross save being added to the game later this year! I want to share my PC save to my Xbox, so I can play with my friends who are still on the platform, but I definitely won't overwrite those exclusive items. [b]Ideally for me, upon setting up cross saves, all my overwritten saves would have their collections merged to the chosen new save. Not brought into inventories or vaults, just simply the collections page updated to include the items in the old saves.[/b] Maybe triumphs as well, but my concern really is with the collections. I went flawless in year 1! I completed Moments of Triumph, got a high Grimoire score, and more in Destiny 1, and I have those representative emblems in my Xbox legacy save! They're just items, you could say, but in a game about commitment and collection, it's very important to me. Worst comes to worst, I simply don't cross save with my Xbox account, and leave it sitting there alone with my special items, and I don't play with my friends on the platform. Honestly, that's what I'm expecting. I just hope that, with any luck, this post can add to the demand for this feature, even if unfortunately it would seem that such demand is small. It would make an astonishingly big impact for me, and I'd bet others would be very happy to see it implemented as well. Thank you for reading.
