Guardians and their ability to regenerate.
So I have a question for the community, guardians have this cool ability to heal thanks to the light right? My question is say a guardian had a limb cut off as the result of battle, would the ghost be able to restore said limb as in growing a new one or simply materialize out of ‘light’? Ive seen cayde-6 have his limbs blasted off in the vanilla of the game yet hes an exo. Once the light is restored we never see if his limbs are restored artificially or by the light.

2 RepliesGuardians heal through their Ghosts. In Cayde’s case, the tech to create new Exo limbs/parts is long gone, so chances are he regenerated that limb. In Asher’s case, his arm was transformed down to the core, so there’s a possibility he can’t get a normal arm.

They should be able to. Guardians can be revived from disintegrative trauma.

When Ghosts heal Guardians, wether they’ve been fully disintegrated, lost a limb, or just got battered, the Light instantly fixes the problem with a flash/haze of light, restoring their body to its unharmed state. So there’s a flash of blue where the missing arm is, then there’s an arm there. Space magic!

3 RepliesI mean, we get disintegrated all the time with no issues getting our bodies back via the Light. The only exception that I know of is Asher's arm.
