Nope. Have no problem with enhancement cores, just learn to manage them. Only infuse gear that you will use in high level activities that actually require high light. I’ll keep grinding recluse, playing gambit prime, grinding oxygen sr3, etc, all because I love the game

No matter what you think on the subject the fact they outright ignore what the community wants is evident of the bigger picture that they barely actually listen and implement changes we want. Example being the whisper nerf and any pve related nerfs. I just wanna know what happens to the bungie that gave us detailed roadmaps on not just expansions content but also updates and live events from last year Say what you will about anthem,warframe or The division but at least the devs for those games listen to what the community wants and acts on it in a timely manner. And if the destiny tracker numbers are anything to go by they need to change something fast or those numbers will continue to fall until they reach pre forsaken numbers.

Can you explain why enhancement cores are NEEDED in infusion then. Because the way I see it the only reason they are needed for infusion is a way to artificially inflate play time and need for grinding

To make what you use in [b]a few high LL activities[/b] a meaningful choice. Most activities you don’t even have to infuse, as their recommended LL isn’t high. The only activities where LL 650 is different from 700 are nf (if you increase the score modifier), reckoning, and iron banner. For those activities, you can spare enough enhancement cores to infuse up 2-3 sets of weapons. But the main reason for enhancement cores in infusion is if they weren’t, they people would masterwork anything they wanted. Then masterwork weapons would mean nothing, because every weapon would be masterworked. If enhancement cores were removed from infusion, they would either have to increase the price of masterworks even more or reduce the ways you can get masterworks. Enhancement cores in infusion keeps the amount of masterworks in check

What’s wrong with having more masterworks though this is a game about feeling more powerful right I mean destinys motto is “become legend”. Or does bungie want me to have a sense of pride and accomplishment when I actually masterwork one of my weapons

That’s like saying why did they decrease exotic drop rate, they should just give everybody every exotic

That’s different though exotics are not tied directly to progression though. Infusion is I should not have to look like a patchwork doll every couple of months all because a new season starts and the light level goes up

Because I like to look cool and other people do to there’s an entire section of our inventory that’s for customizing your guardian. It’s also fun to see a guy who looks like a badass and just look at him in the tower for a moment. Whenever I go back to d1 and I go to the tower I always get some level 4 guardians running up to me and trying to get my attention all because I’m wearing my ortamented vog armor

Good for you, and you can still do that once you reach max light. It’s not that hard

What was wrong with the old masterwork and infusion systems though?

As I said earlier, everything was masterworked, so masterwork meant nothing

No I’m not a hater in fact I love the world surrounding destiny and I keep up with the lore and all that and if I was a hater why would I have logged over 800 hours into this game.

And we’re now 3 months after you left, and there was a new release in that time. You would think one would come back for a major content drop

And I did for thorn I assumed it would be the quest given to everyone as it was a gun from d1 but I assumed wrong

They completely reworked the perks, and it’s still a new game
