It's still there. Completed mine last week.
There's an illuminated marker over her spot on the map to track progress.
The one that has changed is Hawthornes weekly clan contributions. You earn that in game as you play instead of collecting daily bounties, which is a huge improvement.

When you put your cursor over Ikora on the map what does it say? Is there a glowing marker there or just her emblem? What platform are you on?
