The way to balance the shotgun meta is moving all shotguns to special/second slot
Because you can't use Luna/NF at the same time then with a shotgun. And that would result in a meta change.

Edit: Oh and adding snipers also to second slot would prevent the sniper meta.
Edit 2: To make my opinion more understandable, most top tier players play luna/nf and primary shotguns. If they would have to decide between a shotgun or their pinnacle weapons, which one would they chose? In both cases they would weaken themself abit.

5 RepliesThe easiest way to fix shotgun meta in Crucible is to provide energy weapon ammo like power ammo w the packages. Stop having energy ammo drop on death. That's how it gets fixed.

3 RepliesWhat. I think one of the whole selling points back with the Forsaken update was “3 shotguns.” And mind you the universal system has effected the game positively. You can’t blame Bungie if this ever goes into effect (speaking hypothetically ofc), you were the one who asked for it.

7 RepliesOr u could just play and use whatever weapons u personally like to use and learn how to counter Luna’s/NF. There are plenty of weapons out there to counter these “pinnacle “ weapons just fine , u just need to find some that work with ur personal playstyle . Trust me i played against a guy today running a sniper/ sub machine gun combo and absolutely destroyed everyone . 41 kills , he was a very very good player and honestly he coulda been using green weapons and still dominated . Also been seeing a lot of Sunshot recently and I watched a guy outshoot someone with Luna’s time and time again in a match today , u know why..? Cause he actually strafed and moved and had gun skills, not like most on here asking for guns to get nerfed, he was just a good player using whatever he wanted and was extremely successful doing it . Just two quick examples of the old saying , Guns don’t kill people, people kill people ...
