D2 PVP Roadmap Needed ASAP
PVP in D2 has nothing on the horizon. There is nothing interesting or exciting for the PVP community to look forward to, there is nothing on the current Roadmap for PVP and the message this past week dashed the one remaining hope the community had. The message this past week was D2 PVP has no future. If that is the case, just say so.
If that is not the case, PVP needs a Roadmap and a conversation. If that is a public conversation, great! That's the best case, best way to show that the lessons learned last year have not already been forgotten. If its another community summit where ideas can be discussed without generating unnecessary expectations. But the conversation needs to happen, and there needs to be a Roadmap

2 RepliesIf you are only pvp then yeah trials not coming back is hard to take, for most of us who play both sides of destiny not so much. We play pvp to get bounties or power drops. Have fun with friends and for the most part don't take it that seriously.

3 RepliesRoad Map - Nothing Interesting, hell son what rock are you living under. This week - Crimson Days with Doubles ALL PvP ALL THE TIME. Woot Woot Next week, you must have missed it, Iron Banner, ALL PvP ALL THE TIME Woot Woot. I personally would have preferred for Shaxx to have bit it in the forsaken instead of Cayde so that the Crucible got a quick death it deserved. But alas, we lost a great Vanguard. Maybe if the crucible didn't break every... single... thing... in this game, it would be a more popular place to hang out.

1 ReplyIt really bothers me that people seem to think that there is some kind of realistic fix to the pvp in this game. I still play pvp but with no hopes and dreams of it ever being good. Bottoms line is bungie does not have the ability to fix the trash that is 99% of the pvp community. Just read a post last week where real stats were used to show that it’s the same people that achieved high rank each season. So the same people continue to oppress the play list. Put in a ceiling that no one els can pass and. These are the streamers and paid carries and recove boots people. The only thing bungie could do to fix this is to remove rewards from the active and then why would any ever play it. The would not. So it just an endless circle of oppression. They could remove team shot damage that would help but I doubt that’s a thing. And for everything one that thinks Luna’s howl and not forgotten are two strong try getting your 3 tap on an jotunn telesto or team shot and see what happen lol

We would need an ambulance to get to wherever that roadmap leads because its pretty safe to say that D2 PvP is on life support. People complain about PvP getting one pinnacle weapon a season. There are far too many people that want to see it die and all they do is come on the forums praying for it to die. They blame it for everything that's wrong with the game because they suck at it terribly. And the sad part is that these people are still catered to with this stupid 50/50 win loss rate in Quickplay. I say return to the glory days of the matchmaking "bug" and let the haters play their raids. Fanfiction gets more respect than PvP… FANFICTION!?!?!?!?! What a shame. No new maps. No new modes. And even when we get a pinnacle weapon people scream bloody murder.

2 RepliesTotally agree. Competitive has COMPLETELY missed the mark. QuickPlay is enjoyable for me but lacks variety. There was a twitter post by a Bungie content creator account, can't remember who and it said. "Last Iron Banner of this season starts today! Who is excited?" 99% of the response was, not me!! Sad because I felt Iron Banner in D1 always had a certain level of excitement build around it. Not the case in D2, ever. I really enjoy PvP and Destiny was the first game I have really tried to get better at. It is still fun, but really lacking that certain excitement. Fine, but we need a road map letting us know some hope is on the horizon. I remember all the posts in years past about what was going to kill D1 and nothing ever did. Games came and went and D1 was still strong. Now with a bunch of good games out and more on the horizon, I really do wonder if D2 will bring the numbers back. It's not dead but D2 has been diagnosed with a serious sickness and it's up to Bungie to bring her back to health. Crucible road map would be good right about now.

This whole “march is jokers wild then 3 months after that is penumbra” we need actual details on important things like extra PvP playlist,improvements to comp, making the strike playlist actually fun, making the nightfall prestigious and hard. Making fun specific loot. improving titles and quality of life improvements. All of these need details not the usual “we’re working on it”

I hope the road map has a dead end and drives off a fuggin cliff face. Wouldn't be the first time pvp crashes and burns.

Destiny2’s pvp is shit. That’s why all skilled pvp players left long ago. In fact they probably were part of the first wagon to leave. We are now well into D2 Y2, and the situation is catastrophic: - broken metas that have for sole purpose to add playtime, - broken maps, (camping and stacks parties) - broken matchmaking, - broken p2p with sick lags (too many players running in the air or 3m high into the walls), - broken reward system, - broken end game pve/pvp activity - no pinnacle pvp activity. I’m not into destiny’s pvp to begin with, but even I can tell this game is in total perdition.

Do you have any idea what a shitshow trials would be if they released it right now? You don't normally get a lot of content for PVP anyway maybe a few new guns I don't know what you expect.
