OK Bungie so your thought process on nefing telesto was to "fix" its impact to come into alignment with its charge rate. Why not just increase the charge rate to come in alignment with its impact? so onto merciless. It is in the highest class for charge time yet its impact doesn't reflect. When are you planning on "fixing" this? Make the impact reflect its charge rate? I mean its only fair right? you have a 900 charge rate rifle with a 75 impact that's less than main ingredient but 160 charge rate longer than main ingredient. in fact that's one of the lowest impacts of fusion rifles in the game but has a 900 charge rate? and the argument of "oh but its exotic perk makes it fire faster in certain situations" yeah in situations that aren't crucible. in crucible you're either killing the guy in one shot (miracle btw) or you're dying because you didn't and you have to charge up again (that exotic perk does nothing for you in crucible). So i know you probably wont see this but "fix" the weapon by buffing its damage output to match its charge rate, in the spirit of "fixing" things of course since we are doing that now

The merciless is really not a pvp weapon. It’s really good on bosses and single targets though. Rally barricade or rifts are actually good fun with it.
-
It also has an Aim Assist Value of 0. The stat isn't even displayed on tracking websites. It's a terrible pvp weapon.

It’s catalyst stat bonuses are a lie

I don't have any maths to share but have been using Merciless consistently since year 1. Its damage suffered considerably when they moved fusion rifles to Energy slot, but it feels much better in pve since the 40% damage buff a couple of months ago. In Crucible it used to hit for 54 per bolt in year 1, not it hits for 49 per bolt. It also used to OHK Supers. Now, you're lucky to knock off half their shield. But the Impact value on the card has always been inaccurate. It hits much harder than what is listed on the card. I don't know why it is the way it is but it's not accurate and Bungie hasn't fixed it since D2 released so I'm not holding my breath.
