Forge Key Mold & Mysterious Box Issue
Currently, we are aware of players reporting issues regarding the Black Armory Key Mold and Mysterious Box. At this time we are actively investigating these reports and ask that players who believe to be impacted by this comment below in this thread so we can efficiently gather data on the matter.
Please note this thread's focus is to assist with a potential future resolution and not handle individual requests at this time.

I have all 3 forges and keys completed and have completed the 4th with max temper but havent got quest or key on any character. Totally demoralizing

I have it on my titan but get it on my hunter or warlock and I have rare bounty on hunter. So frustrating.

3 RepliesEdited by UofU Man: 1/10/2019 9:56:50 PMI was able to get the key mold yesterday on my least played alternate, but today, not on any other characters. I'm really only concerned that the warning didn't come up when I went to Ada-1 yesterday saying: WARNING: You will realize tomorrow that you are playing a game that the end-game is the wait-game. You will realize that your earliest opportunity to finish this coveted quest, is in three weeks. To speed this up, you may wait on Io for the blight public event, but it will not help as this location has been known to have the cabal drill for days at a time ("working as intended" Friday-Monday). Alternatively, you can run ascendant challenges and complete quests in the dreaming city, and maybe if you are lucky, you will get more destination collectibles, but not the ghost or the sparrow, because they are a myth. This week you can run the Shattered Throne multiple times but you'll have to do it again in 3 weeks for this quest, and that's if you think you're lucky enough to get a rare black armory bounty by then (good luck!). Your best bet is to do lost sectors and public events on Mars (not patrols, strikes, adventures or escalation protocol mind you). Do enough of those and you can get some Resonate Stems. A few of those and you have an Override Frequency, do enough of those and you might get a weapon schematic, turn in maybe 25 of those and you might get all the Braytech weapons (I mean there's FOUR of them!). ----Hold on, Dwight wants to know what the ratio is of Resonate Stems to Schrute Bucks---- Do all these things (and half a dozen meatballs) and you will unlock the title "Lucky-achievements aren't earned, they are random". Oh yeah, where were we....wait for it.... If you're still playing this game in three weeks, just know that the black armory key mold might be available for your alternate characters. But your problem is far from fixed. At this time we are actively investigating these reports and ask that players who believe to be impacted by this problem buy more silver. Was anyone else missing this warning? Put me down on the list of impacted players for the black armory key thing. I love the game just have some regrets.

Same problem got it on my warlock, but I don't have a rare bounty and it doesn't pop up for my Hunter or Titan. Please fix.

I got the keymold on my main character and completed the quest line for both the sniper and the emblem (accelerator) went to my alts and got nothing. Just a normal week for them. No key mold no progress towards the sniper, at least I have them already but still frustrating to hold a quest that I should and could complete this week. Especially since it was so heavily publicized.

I have the same problem, can not get last key quest of ada-1 for second character. The reason I did second character is because they had the rare bounty for one of the quests and now I can’t do it as I thought if I turn in bounty that might of activated it but sadly not. My main problem is that I am not going to get this stupid rare bounty for my main and then I will have to wait three weeks before one of the quests is the shattered throne is going to be out again. Like it is b.s. but this is destiny, what should I expect anymore.

I am also having this issue of not being able to pick up a key mold on my second and third characters. It seems that everyone is currently having this issue.

Making a quest step that relies on RNG, and another that is 3 weeks window is just Bungie!! I also have only 1 char with the mold completed, the alts don't get the mold and I've never see a rare bounty. Why not put this rare bounty to drop when you complete all ADA's daily?

Guess I'll just go grind out the Armory bounty until this gets fixed. 150 kills of each burn type? No problemo.
