Various error code disconnects

Dear Bungie support team, I feel like the issue has repeated here many time. There is something wrong with Destiny 2 servers which causes users (including me) to get disconnected showing various error codes. I do not believe this to be a single incident that has to do with the users own internet provider. I would like to explain how I encounter this problem: When I try to connect to your servers in various area in the game, whether if I'm trying to load a specific world (tower is the most problematic for me), or when there is an in game loading period (for instance when I am entering a lost section or starting a quest or forge) I will get disconnected and thrown back into orbit. The error codes change, most common is Currant but I have received all sorts of different codes including Cabbage, Rabit and more... This issue is a new thing that has started around the time your released The Dawning events and did not accur before. I would also like to state that this issue is isolated to Destiny 2 and does not happen when I play other online games or use streaming services like Netflix. I have run a ping test as suggested in another topic in the forum and have seen no packet loss problems. I could not find a helpful guide or solution anywhere online, therefore I am posting this myself. It would be helpful if this problem was addressed more clearly somewhere on your site. Please help me solve this problem. I do enjoy the game and would like to spend many more hours enjoying it and the new content the Annual Pass has to offer. Keep up the good work ! Thank you, Hillel Levy

 • Hey Wednesday. I see that you're having connection issues and receiving various error codes. Most of the error codes you described are general networking errors. So let's go ahead and make sure your ISP is not facing any turbulent packet loss. Please follow the steps below and let me know the results of this test to see what is taking place with your connection. For PC

1. Open a command prompt on a client PC, via the Start Menu search for "cmd". 2. Type "ping www.bungie.net -n 300". (This will ping the address 300 times. Substitute 8.8.8.8 with whatever address must be tested.) 3. Copy the results and paste them in your response to us.

For Mac
For Macs:
1. Go to your Applications folder; 2. Choose Utilities and then open the Network Utility; 3. Click the Ping tab and type in www.bungie.net; 4. Type in 300 for the "Send only ___ pings"; 5. Click on the Ping button to launch the test.
