So I was using the Dire Skill helmet in quickplay and mayhem and it gives no super energy? Did they disable it for crucible for some reason because I don't understand. Meanwhile hunters with shards in mayhem get one kill and have their entire Super back?! What's going on with the exotic helmet and pvp?

If I remember right that exotic was designed with the mindset of killing multiple enemies (5+ or so) with your nova bomb at once, while shards were likely designed with the mindset of killing a single target.

It also makes you nigh unkillable. Just sayin'

Need the obsidian mind back!!
-
It makes you niegh unkillable during your super

Yes, nova bomb is useless together with its exotic, warlocks overall are trash, unfortunately

Edited by DrEvo82: 12/23/2018 10:26:16 PMI'm using it in Mayhem and it seems to work fine for me. I'm having quite a good time throwing Slowva bombs everywhere.

Skull is not as efficient as Shards. I'm not sure why Bungie felt the need to go overboard with this Forsaken exotic but this is a prime example of the difference between Year 1 and Year 2 game design.

All depends on how many u kill.

The only good exotic for warlocks is phoenix protocol. But even that exotic itsn't as OP as others....
-
Works fine when I used it

Shards and skull are different. Skull gives set energy for each kill shards provides fast super regen, which is great in mayhem. To be honest I want shards to function like skull because they are so inconsistent in pve.
