Automatically load us into the Tower
Minor idea, but we should be automatically loaded into the Tower when we log to the game.

In my opinion this is a incredibly easy fix for everyone's needs. Have a toggle on character selection screen where you can swap between orbit and tower. Then select who you want to play and it brings you to that location. It would always load up with your last selection as well. So if you went to tower yesterday, it would always be selected. This would be helpful to get to the tower faster for players looking for bounties, and push players into orbit when looking ro swap guardians. An incredibly easy fix with lots of quality of life bonus to it.

1 ReplyI was thinking about this last night actually. After choosing your character, it's a faster load time to orbit (no matchmaking), but you WILL be loading into some destination first, and almost everyone wants to go get the tower bounties before starting their session. It might overload tower instances though, since there are undoubtedly countless people who load into the game and go make a sandwich or something... They might not be able to accommodate a change like this - it would necessarily and significantly increase the processing and required server capacity to just start everyone in a tower instance. But it would save me some button clicks EVERY time I load in...

7 RepliesI would prefer they allowed us to pick up bounties through the app. That way, I could jump straight into an activity, picking up bounties while loading in.

Or at least give us the option. I wouldn't mind starting out at the tower.

6 RepliesAgreed, since we need to pick up bounties there each day anyway. Plus, we can travel directly from location to location, so it would cost any time even if you didn't need to go to the tower first

12 RepliesHere's a better suggestion: How about we actually load into the Tower? This game is over a year old and still the biggest issue plaguing this game is the core social space is a pain in the ass to get into. And when you finally load in, you get kicked after a few minutes.

The game should load into the character screen when u start the app rather than waiting a minute to press the x button to then load the game

A better idea would be a button press on the loading screen similar to GTA where you choose to load directly into online or story mode. Choosing Tower from the loading screen would be a big help in a lot of cases.
