Is there a reason to use Cerberus?
So I'm not sure if it's bad in pvp but in pve it's really bad. Fires from 4 barrels? Wow its still just as useful at any other auto. Not at all

I did all the multikills for breakneck with it. just hip fire from 40 yds away.

This is the first exotic i got, tried it then put in vault, have no desire to use it

Got it yesterday and believe it doesn't do what any other common auto-rifle doesn't do also. Another gun absolutely not worth being an exotic. Feels more like a blue item.

1 ReplyFYI it has inverse damage falloff. It does less damage the closer you get. Crazy, I know. So you want to use it midrange.

A) It's something different, and most Autos kinda suck, so why not? B) It's basically a mini rapid-fire shotgun - if you use it at the right range and aim for the head, it does decent damage compared to other Autos. I haven't done much testing, as I'm not usually an Auto player, but from the little I've used it it appears some of the barrels do more damage than others, and landing consistent Crits seems to kill enemies faster than, say, Suros Regime. (I've used it more in PvP than PvE, and for an off-meta weapon it did better than I expected.)
