Got another Exotic Weapon I already have =(
Dear Bungie,
I got two Exotics that I already have. After hours of trying to get one, I finally see an exotic Engram and it’s a vigilance wing that I already have.
There must be a better way than this. Maybe you guys can think of something.
Here: Maybe do 30 bounties to get a 40percent exotic tincture consumable that heightens the drop rate from Ikora... this exotic tincture can be either a: weapon or armor consumable.... this lasts for 72hours.
Or: tincture has a 20% effectiveness that stacks with other players’ tinctures. It can be more effective if everyone played in a team.
Maybe even make the tincture glow like gold and exotic. Make them look fancy and shiny. And guardians who consume the tincture will have a slight glow of white and gold to show how they earned the tincture and can show it as a sense of status in the community.

I wanna enjoy the Exotics while they are relevant. People will get tired and not chase them anymore. At least give the loyal players an option to work for them or an Avenue to gain an exotic.
Edit: Couple Hours Later, I hopped on again
I hopped on a different character, and my warlock got two new Exotics: Phoenix Protocol and Contraverse Gloves. So I think the trick is to alternate characters or have more than one character per Subclass. I might even try the raid with my Phoenix Protocol and Well of Radiance... need two more seeds. 🤔😁

But exotic armor pieces would drop more in favor of bringing them up to date with random rolls some even being enhanced. They slightly tipped the scale in favor of getting new Exotics but in no way shape or form got rid of the old form the loot table. There’s essentially 4 new exotic armor pieces and a good amount of weapons. With that being said stop looking for handouts this game has and always will be a rng game. So some get it easier while others haven’t gotten a forsaken drop. And no xur isn’t going to sell new Exotics anytime soon. So stop crying there. Chances he will when Black armory drops in December. Most of you aren’t even bothering to do the milestones to get powerful gear so you are just hurting yourself. Public events aren’t near as rewarding, 3 of coins is gone. And once you achieve them your gonna complain how there’s nothing to go for. It’s the nature of the game. There’s hardly any new Exotics so you can see why dupes are still dropping. And with enhanced perks now they can be a game changer. So even look at the dupes your getting and not dismantle out of anger. As a mod that benefits the Exotics, super plus the sub class perks can make for nastier combos. If anything I’m annoyed with exotic drops it’s the damn otherside sparrow.
