Relics of the Golden Age - No credit for decrypting exotic engram
As others are reporting, I received an exotic engram from the Thunderlord quest, had it decrypted to reveal the Thunderlord, but did not get the credit for decrypting an exotic engram in the RotGA mission. I don't imagine I'll be seeing another exotic engram anytime soon, and I've been itching to get this completed. Thanks!

6 RepliesHi. Thanks for your report. The Relics of the Golden Age quest requires an exotic engram to drop for you. Because the Thunderload quest engram was given to you, it will not count toward the Relics of the Golden Age quest.

I had an armor drop. Didn't complete the quest. Bummer.

Same for me, Xurs engram doesnt work, thunderlord, or exotics from doing weeklies etc Pretty irritating this quest step in light of how exotics work now.

My umpteenth “otherside” sparrow drop just unlocked it for me 🤷♂️ Seems to pick and choose what is a valid drop
